Mitcham Golf Club

Well what can i say probably the chaviest golf club ive been too in the country. Got these old members sitting inside thinking they own the place asking members to take hats off then trying to have a joke about it. Very unwelcoming. You can feel the negative vibes. The course is ok, theres alot of tees where they crossover so you will see balls flying over whilst walking to your next shot. There is alot of midges and mosquitos also near the forest area. After finishing the course. The same old men was sitting in the same table gossiping about the news of immigrants being flown to rwanda and closing off the borders to asylum seekers. They still tried to crack some cocky jokes when they saw us. Overall we wont be coming back here.

Went to play 18 holes on Monday, the 15th of May. I found the members the old boys on Mondays seem to be very unwelcoming to a point of being quite aggressive to newcomers (too many members act like they own this club) so you won’t be seeing me ever again. This is why I leave it one star for a really bad GOLF COURSE too.

Very dry in UK but well maintained green.All staffs are very kinds.

Continually investing which is nice to see. Can be a bit boggy after rain, but pleasantly challenging course.Could do with a dehumidifier in locker rooms, and a Sri tee regime on beer line cleaning. Food, staff and pro shop staff very hospitable and friendly.

Maybe one of the best value courses I’ve ever played. £25 for a round. Greens in good shape and a few interesting holes. Shame visitors can’t play off the whites, plays a bit short otherwise.

Had my Nephew's wake here staff were very friendly and food was great big thankyou to all.

Great public course. Easily located on the edge of the station car park. An affordable 18holes providing a challenge for All levels of golfer.

Great course in every season and weather. Interesting greens and some challenging holes. The members are very welcoming to guests and new members. The ladies membership is currently 1/2 price for the first year. Super easy to get to as it is very close to Mitcham Junction station.

Great local course, challenging enough (quite narrow) but still a good day out if (like me) you’ll usually go home with a few less balls than you came with...
