Little Wickets - Cricket Coaching for Toddlers & Kids

My son attends the toddler sessions on Saturday mornings which are brilliant. The coach is fantastic and is great with the children. All the games they do are great!

Fantastic experience. We are delighted to have found Little Wickets. Our son has been attending 2nd innings for over a year and absolutely loves the sessions. The mix of technique, fun and sportsmanship keeps things beautifully varied and everyone entertained throughout.Scott seems to achieve the holy grail of maintaining a great rapport with each of the youngsters, whilst fostering a level of respect for the coaches, the game and each other that is often lacking in sports groups for this age group. The assistant coaches (Sammy, Joe, Finley) are all incredibly supportive to the young players and our son looks forward to every session.

My son absolutely adores little wickets. He started when he was 2 1/2 and the team were so supportive, he is now nearly 5 and is a confident player and is excited before and after every session. His skills have vastly improved and he has a real passion for cricket. The team have adapted their approach to teaching him throughout his journey to suit his ability and to give him the tools to improve. He loves the instructors and has great relationships with them all, they strike a great balance ensuring each week is packed with fun but is also informative. What we’ve also noticed is that now Isaac has started school and also swimming lessons, he is able to listen and follow instructions much better than some of his peers. I think this is thanks to learning these skills from his time at little wickets.. I couldn’t recommend them more!

Great team and a wonderful way for kids to start enjoying cricket. My son (6 year old) is loving it and looks forward to being there every Sunday.

Our 4 year old loves going to the classes! He has been going for a couple of years now and enjoyed it from the beginning. Max is absolutely amazing with the kids and definitely makes the classes a lot of fun!

My 3 year old boy loves little wickets, from playing in our hallway to a big sports hall where he can hit, throw and chase the ball as far as he likes has made a big difference to his enjoyment of 'bat & ball’ as we call it. His favourite game is hitting the balls off cones with the bat and seeing how many runs he can get. The coaches are patient, encouraging and make every session inclusive to both kids and parents. Would highly recommend and we both very much look forward to the rest of the term.

My son loves little wickets, his favourite coach is Max and his favourite activity is batting. I would definitely recommend the classes.

We wanted the kids to get familiar with cricket and were delighted to hear of Little Wickets...and took the taster sessions ...which is a great option! The coaches & team are all very friendly and we saw how well organised & fun the lessons are - biggest plus the kids enjoyed them so much just after the taster sessions that we signed up for the whole term!! And the kids wanted their own cricket bats!! Will highly recommend.

My daughter had her first cricket session during half term and absolutely loved it! She didn’t have any previous experience for playing cricket but the coach made her settled in very well. We ended up to book more regular sessions for her as per her request. Highly recommend!!

Having tried a couple of similar sporty sessions we were nervous about whether our son would take to this - and he's absolutely loving it thanks to the coaches. They're keeping it fun and the sessions flow at a pace that keeps the little ones all entertained. Both Max and his support crew are fab with the kids, blending some basic cricket skills with innovative games (Lauren and Liv are the regular assistants but the whole team are consistently great).
