ASDA Pharmacy

I booked a 111 emergency prescription in the morning as my prescription had run out and my pharmacist was closed for the weekend.The pharmacist was very rude on the phone and said i must wait for him to call before i come in. I then went back to work. I missed his call so tried to call back but no answer. I then had a text from 111 saying my prescription was ready so assumed it was fine.I went to the store after work at 7.30 and asked for my prescription. The pharmacist came out of his office and shouted at me. I made it very clear you weren't to come until we spoke on the phone

Very rude. Not only did I get questioned by a pharmacist to buy an over the counter pain killer, he told me to tell my GP I needed to tell my gp and get a note to say I was in pain next time or he would refuse me!!Also turned away a man in front of me from collecting medication for cancer and carried on talking to other staff members about the man’s prescription after he’d left the pharmacy. Completely unprofessional. Refused to supply his name for me to make a complaint. Evening shift 27/6/23

Snappy pharmacist .2nd time I have found the pharmacist short and rude.I will be changing to an alternative pharmacy with pleasant and kind staff

This is a great pharmacy. Normally I get Tom who gets my repeat medication within a few minutes. Open longer hours than most.

Awful staff. 1 star is generous. Laughing in customers faces. I am a carer; was trying to get pain relief and was told they would have to come in and get it themselves as I “didn’t look old enough” despite them being disabled and unable to get out of the car. Asked wildly personal questions. Talking about a previous customer trying to get their prescription to other members of staff- which is absolutely supposed to be kept confidential. Man refused to give his name.

Serious, unfriendly staff.Asked personal health questions while lots of people were behind me in the queue.All for a product that I can easily buy online or in the main supermarket, if it hadn't have been sold out.

Would give no stars if I could. My partner went to the pharmacy & told the pharmacist of my problem, which is rather personal, to ask the best thing to purchase & he took their advice. The item didn't work because it doesn't treat the ailment I needed it for. He then had to call 111 & they said I needed an ambulance. This would have all been avoided if he'd been advised to purchase the correct item that was intended to treat my problem. I won't be going here again!

Absolute awful service. Refused to give an emergency prescription for my 1 year old after filling in an 111 form and they directed me to them. Given proof of repeat prescription online on the NHS app. It’s an inhaler so vital she has this typical I’ve noticed at 7pm on a Friday evening it’s run out. Completely condescending, rude and ignorant pharmacist that evidently didn’t want to do any work. Not the first time with the same pharmacist being rude. Laughed at me when I was completely understandably getting frustrated with his manner. Refused to give me his name also. Definitely do not use!

The pharmacist was rude, impatient and quite frankly intimidating. I took a prescription from my dentist for some antibiotics- he insisted the prescription was a fake. Even after I insisted it was given to me that morning from the dentist. The pharmacist waved the paper vigorously in my face before slamming it onto the counter - raising his voice ‘I’m telling you this is a photocopied’Most definitely will not be returning.*edit to add - I can’t find the page to send this to to have it sorted.
