Dunaskin Mill - Student Accommodation Glasgow

The experience for the past year was quite nice.But this year, the whole reception team have changed, the living experience can never be worse.First. The payment system is constantly under maintenance, you have go to the reception to pay rent which is really inconvenient.Second, the hygiene problem. There’s always trash linking in elevator with horrible smell and they don’t clean them in time.Third, when you have fixing request, the stuff ask you to report through the system and wait for ages while they could have priories more serious damages first.What’s more, the new stuff team is extremely rude in terms of writing emails and regular room inspections. They use offensive words and tones in emails. And unpleasant attitude when inspecting room. The accommodation doesn’t take residents seriously when there is complaints over rude stuff. It’s such a concern living in here. I wouldn’t recommend this recommendation under this circumstance until they make improvements.

Don't come to this apartment. The management is chaotic, the money owed is not repaid, and the staff is very rude. I chose to cancel and renew my reservation before the apartment was opened. At that time, the staff agreed to my cancellation and promised to return the deposit to me. As a result, the money has not been refunded yet. I recently sent an email asking, and the staff refused a refund because of my insufficient reasons. When I sent an email to try to solve the matter, they began to shirk their responsibilities, not answering my emails and ignoring the emails I wanted a refund, which was very rude. Please don't come to this apartment.

had a great experience living at Dunaskin Mill. The staff were always friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist David, who was always willing to go the extra mile to help me out.The security team were great and very friendly people as well.Not only that, its location is very convinient, nearby supermarkets, restaurants and all public transports (Subway, ScotRail and Bus).I also appreciated the variety of facilities available, such as the gym, games room, and study areas. Overall, I would highly recommend Dunaskin Mill to any student looking for a comfortable and convenient place to live.

Last review lies, man at reception has always been nice and kind. When repair man finished for day David came and cleaned my toilet with his hand after previous person left disgusting and it was not noticed. Reception have always nice unless you don't follow rules and tidy your mess which many expect others to do for them. They help us even when they are busy and stressed we should not lie it's brings shame. I would give review more stars if I can

reception team takes up to a month to respond to emails with a broken phone system so there is no way to contact them. rooms are also extremely over priced for what you are receiving- old, dirty and low quality housing.

I stayed here last year, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly , the building is easy to navigate and had everything i needed, i met some great friends here and dunaskin mill definitely made my student year a time to remember!! i would highly recommend

The reception staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever met in Scotland and were active in solving all my issues. The location of the apartment is the most competitive for UofG students and the value for money is also recommended

I was there for my computer science degree and David helped me through the entire process. From signing into my room up to my last day, he has been nothing but helpful. He was also a really wonderful person to hang out with after a long day of courses! Herv and Gil were also very friendly. I appreciate them a lot.As for the room, it felt like being a hotel throughout my stay. They were comfy, roomy and never too hot/cold. No matter the season, the river behind Dunaskill will be my favourite place in the world.10/10 - excellent staff, superb environment

Took over a room mid term from a previous person, staff where very welcoming and explained everything to me. I had a issue where somebody had spilled something outside my room door and staff had it cleaned immediately. Great experience so far and would highly recommend. They will help you as much as they can and are very nice to me whenever I talk to them.

I have lived here since 2019 (there is only several months that I did notrent flat here) and I have to say the service is worse and worse. The main reason to male me write this comment is because the staff called David is so offensive and rude! Neverthelessthe workers broke into my flat without telling me ahead of time, David send me an email says my flat full of rubbish and they cannot open the door beacuse of the rubbish on the ground (which is just a coat hanger and didn't affect the door opening）！and he said i have to clean my rubbish' the day he sent me the email
