Nice store! The coffee selection may actually be the thing that makes it. As an avid coffee drinker, I was treated to an excellent selection of beans roasted very recently on the premises from specially sourced beans. Not tried a cup of my selection yet, but it smells amazing.Also, they have a good range of sencha and other great teas, of course.Loads of things here for coffee and tea heads, hard to leave. Amd excellent service!

I've been visiting Lincoln this weekend and I can truly say that the experience at Imperial Teas was the highlight of my holiday (bare in mind, I am not a coffee lover, nor a tea lover). I was impressed to see how helpful, patient and generally nice the employees were. Also, the coffee beans were freshly roasted and smelled amazing. I definitely recommend it and it is for sure the best place to find the perfect gift for family/friends.

If you like tea as much as my partner and I, do come here as it is a must for any tea enthusiast. The variety of loose leaf tea is delectable, and, if you find yourself at the beginning of your journey of relishing a truly good cuppa, please do not feel afraid to ask someone to point you towards their best tea making equipment and teapots. This place has everything you need and the busy individuals behind the scenes, always dealing with one order or another (which are responsibly sourced), are happy to go above and beyond with a smile on their face! One of the best places to see and buy from in the whole city of Lincoln.

we've been buying teas from the brothers on and off for about 30 years. tea's delicious and service wonderfully friendly and efficient. ordered latest batch on Saturday and it's arrived this Monday morning!

A tea shop with an unbelievable selection of teas but has the best coffee beans and chocolate you can find!Please don't sleep on the chocolate or coffee beans. The medium dark roast coffee is so fresh and delicious. The chocolate is a real gem.My favourite shop on steep hill.

It is quite empressive, whatever you'll find you will find it. They have such a variety of equipment and about every tea.Staff are lovely and friendly and helped me find the tea i wanted when they noticed i was looking for a while.The product - Matcha Uji Cermonial Green tea:I do not drink tea thus i don't really have an interest in reviewing their other products- however i only drink Matcha tea, i love matcha and have been drinking it daily for so long now, varying from different brands to try. Thus, I know what i'm looking for in taste and quality.Unfortunately the matcha they provide is not cermonial grade.I love how the shop gives a sample of the teas and when i opened the container of the matcha sample, i was instantly not impressed. It had a foul off smell and the colour of the matcha is almost a yellowish military green colour.These are the first signs you see when looking at the quality of the matcha - the colour and smell affects the nutrition and taste, and i can already tell this was bad but i didn't want this to discourage me as this is only a sample container and as it's been opening and closing so often maybe it was left to oxidise for so long it affected its quality.I purchased some and went home, +1 star for the amazing sealed packing and box. Very secure which i liked a lot.i made my matcha tea and was disappointed. Bitter and quite gritty i could taste the powder like it hasn't gotten dissolved. This was just Matcha and waterCermonial matcha is ALWAYS smooth but can be bitter but this was so bitter, it was unpleasant. I then tried this with a Matcha Latte with Oat milk - Jörd and it was a little better but still wasn't good. Unfortunate.I'm sure the shop sells amazing teas but this was not the one, i wouldn't reccomend the Matcha tea they provide in their shop.

Love this tea shop, I visit every time I’m in Lincoln but keep forgetting to review a review so it’s many years later of me visiting multiple times but went recently and still loved it if you love tea definitely come check it out

This is an exceptionally good tea shop. Not only is the tea top notch but the clearly carefully selected other items like cups, pots etc are hard to beat. My first enjoyable experience coming here was 6 years ago during a big wedding anniversary. We finally returned recently and I was determined to find some proper Lapsang Souchong after the recent crazy decision by Twinings to change theirs to the truly awful distinctinctly smoky". We also got a lovely handmade mug for my daughter to take to Uni plus some other things. I only wish I could have bought more as the different varieties are earl grey alone look very interesting. I have also used the mail order to send more Lapsang and Earl Grey to a family member which was promptly and efficiently sent and received."
