I did my PGCE here and my overall experience was great. Staff members were always there to help you.

Great university for my PGCE course. The masters level assignments seemed a lot of unnecessary hassle but overall a great year, would definitely recommend.

Disgusting service, a disabled man has had to drag himself up stairs to enter or be forced to walk all the way around the building. Then when seeking help regarding the lifts that are turned off from opening on lower ground you are forced to clime more steps, then sent to another person. Then from there another, then a supervisor before being told its not the job of customer service and you have to go up more stairs. Literally discriminated at every stage and pushed to such a way you cant actually complain. Expect this being told to the press

Loved my time at this university! Great student support and facilities - which by the looks of it have only improved since my time here - it was a pleasure to go back last week for my girlfriend's graduation and see how things have changed. Having the chance to do two work placements as part of my degree, let me try b2b and b2c sectors and was invaluable when it came to finding my first graduate job.

My Application was accepted and have passed technical interview but because of the interviewer i lost my visa session. The lady who took interview was rude and harsh and at the last moment they told my application is canceled . All my dreams have been shattered, i have even ordered GCSE course materials from A star to Qatar where i stay was preparing for the same. The University is not even bothered.

My time at Leeds Trinity was very mixed.I signed up for Criminology and Sociology with a Foundation Year in Social Science in 2019.The course was anything but smooth sailing but had many positive moments that made it worthwhile.During the course, the pandemic started, which the University seemed to handle quite well. The online learning was still engaging and tutors made sure to still hold one-to-ones. Everything was OK.Then, second to third year, lecturers started leaving left right and centre. One left weeks before a final year assessment was due which left many of us panicked and worried. Again, I think the university did it's best. The replacement lecturers were still engaging and knowledgeable which is exactly what we needed. Some consistency would have been nice though.Come to my final year and that's when I experienced a major issue that made me want to quit. I completed an ethics form for my dissertation - which was approved. I spent months planning my project (overseen by my supervisor) and creating all the documents needed etc. Only to find out - 4 months before the deadline - that my previous supervisor had made a mistake and shouldn't have approved it. Meaning, my hard work was for nothing, I couldn't do my initial project. Now, the supervisor who incorrectly approved it had already left and I was given a new supervisor named Jess. If it wasn't for her and Joanna, I honestly think I'd have quit. They helped me apply for an extension so I'd have the time to rethink and rebuild my dissertation into something acceptable. With Jess' guidance and encouragement I secured a First Class Honours, which made it all worthwhile. It wasn't without many tears, doubts and stress eating nights - but then again, I didn't expect University to be easy.Positives:- Campus is nice, never seemed too busy- Most lecturers were great (especially Rob Hornsby, his lectures are so entertaining yet informative)- Met friends for lifeNegatives:- Staff turnover for our course seemed very high- Disorganised at times (my final year example)- Compulsory placements which was difficult for those who already had commitments outside of university

I went here 1995-1999 so I guess it will have changed. Had a brilliant time. Best years of my life. Only negative at the time, was that media students studied alongside teaching students and business students. They rolled out of bed late and stayed up late due to lectures" starting later. Pretty much didn't give a dam about other students that had lectures at 8am etc. I moved out of halls due to these spoilt little kids making noise and totally disregarding others right to sleep and study. Having said that

Really enjoying my first year at Trinity. It is true what they say about it, you are a name not a number. Very welcoming student support team who are there to help when you need them. You get more than just your degree at Trinity, the placement modules at level 4 and 5 mean that you have the opportunity to see what it's really like working for a business.

Started PGCE here and tutors at the University itself were great but the SCITT programme I was on ended up not working out for me. The school I was partnered with was in CRISIS I saw the head crying and just generally was not a pleasant environment. When I chose to withdraw for personal reasons which I did not at the time share too openly. I was met with concern and understanding from the university, however I also received a hilarious insulting email from the organiser of the partnership who clearly did not realise they had left me in the email chain. I recently came across it again and it reminded me of just how hurtful this was at a time when I was really struggling. It was reported to the university but I never received a direct apology from the individual who sent the email but hopefully after this mistake it never happened to another student.
