I guess this is a pub frequented by the locals as everyone seemed to know each other very well. We ordered tea followed by main courses. The chef here can really conjure up a wonderful meal. The vegetarian choice was really delicious, full of flavour and perfectly presented. The sunday roast was so gigantic in portion size!Really highly recommend trying the food menu. The tea we ordered was unfortunately tepid, rather disappointing but hey it wouldn't deter me from coming back. Good choice of pub deserving of it's high rating. Oh and its dog friendly which is a super big bonus..

Nice local establishment Good beer and gin selections Great place to watch the Rugby..live music was karaoke live band ..great ambience and the paintings on photos on wall are worth a gander..outdoor patios area are nice..Will be back....toilets spotless...

Had a great time great service. Stacey and zoe were amazing. Had 3 sarters for 14.95 were all delicious. good food good beer good staff.

Was once a regular to the Railway took my daughter in there during half term ordered her some foodChilds chicken nuggets and chips ,lady brought them out ,there were not far off black !! tried to tell me they were supposed to be like that !!. Couldnt even get a fork in them .Returned the food waited another half an hour and food came back out just as bad ,with a plate with 9 chips!!!!. What was once a great pub in the area is now empty of both atmosphere and community spirit.

Food, good but wait was a bit long. Almost 1hr for lunch to turn up. Also meal deal with drink doesn't work on the till. So paid more than advertised. Chicken wrap not good. Just left it. Love a bit of black lettuce.

Not a bad Sunday roast, the potatoes were a little dry, but I enjoyed it. There was a lot of food on the plate. So I was unable to finish the plate felt full! I could easily go again.

Pub was quite busy, there was a party going on, so pub had a nice vibe. Food was OK, what you would expect, but please note, we ordered buffalo wings starter and we were brought was was essentially chicken nuggets??!!
