Despite a long wait for our food, the food was of a very high standard. It was spicy enough but still full of flavor. I had Onion Bhaji" and "Naga-Naga Lamb" with a "Cobra" beer. There was few extra lines on the bill that were unfamiliar

A spur of the moment thing.Whilst in Llandudno foot weary and hungry we decided that we’d go for an Indian.We were on the doorstep of the Blue Elephant so decided to give it a try. We’re so glad that we did. We were warmly greeted by the pleasant staff and swiftly shown to our table which had a cracking view down the high street.We had poppadoms and chutney, then their mixed starter sharing platter, all very tasty and fresh. The mains were equally as tasty and fresh, mine being lamb madras, the lamb was plentiful and tender. My wife had the tandoori chicken, again she thoroughly enjoyed it.All the service was swift and attentive.If you’re in the area don’t hesitate to give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Nice decor, food and friendly staff. Came here with my husband and two kids. Not as spicy as I like it, but prefect for my two kids. Apart from one poppadom each as starter, the main course was very filling: chicken korma, mixed meat and king prawn tandoori, aloo gobi with rice and two chapati and naan bread. Would recommend and happy to visit again!

Called in without a booking. Only had to wait a few minutes for a lovely table with a view of the sea! Service was excellent and the food was lovely - best Indian meal in a long time. It was full of flavour but not too hot. Would recommend

Title: Disappointing Service ExperienceI recently dined here and unfortunately, my experience with the service left much to be desired.From the moment I walked in, the lack of attentiveness was evident. Despite the restaurant not being busy at the time, it took an unreasonable amount of time for a server to acknowledge my presence and seat me. Even though we had a booking we kept waiting for 45 min to 1 hrs to get seating and take food order from us .Throughout the meal, the service remained slow and disorganized. My drink order was forgotten, and I had to remind the server twice before it finally arrived. When my food was brought to the table, it was evident that the staff hadn't paid attention to my dietary requests, as the dish contained ingredients I had specifically asked to be omitted.To make matters worse, the servers seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to the diners. I had to actively seek out someone to address my concerns, and when I did, their attitude was dismissive and unapologetic.It's disappointing to have such an experience, especially considering the potential of the restaurant. I hope this place takes customer feedback seriously and works on improving their service quality. In the future, I would recommend that the management invest in better training for their staff and foster a culture of attentiveness and professionalism.While the food might be a draw, the lackluster service greatly overshadowed any positive aspects of my visit. I sincerely hope to see improvements if I were to consider returning to Blue Elephant in the future.

After a long walk around the Llandudno pier, we were hungry and the search for an Indian restaurant (we thought it is unlikely to get one in this place) ended with the Blue Elephant. From the beginning itself, it was felt to be great with Good ambience with light Indian music on the background, pleasant and always ready staffs, the authentic taste of special items at reasonable pricing, and a good corner view of Lladudno Promanade. In the starter section, the chicken chat with puri, thr mixed platter of prawns masala, onion bhaji, chicken pakora, kababs and skewers just awesome. The chicken tandoori was so nice that my 5 year daughter demanded one more. The exotic biriyani was average since we compare it with our Kerala Biriyani and Hyderabadi Biriyani, the puri was so delicate and yummy, the chutney plater was not as we expected as we thought it might contain, the mint chutney, cocunut chutney, and others, but instead it tasted like sweets, sauces or jams except the pickle which was mouthwatering. Keen to try other items on our next visit.

Visited on Saturday. Food was absolutely lovely. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Perfect pint of Cobra to compliment one of the best Indian dinners we had recently. Money well spent. Would revisit any time and would highly recommend.

Wow ! What an absolutely amazing restaurant with sea views. The food was amazing , the service was amazing and we will 100% be returning . We didn’t book but next time we will as it was very busy.

Amazing, as always! Great, quick and friendly service even though it was a very busy Saturday night. Booked very last minute and requested a particular table and they made sure that we got the table we asked for. Lovely food, as always. Couldn't have had a better experience. Never disappoints.
