Fantastic company! This is the second time that we have used Andrew & James for our surveys when buying a home and they have been consistently excellent. Turnaround times from survey to report are fast, but more importantly the quality of the reports is outstanding. The team are friendly and go above and beyond to discuss report findings in a way that really helps lay person buyers (like us!) make some of the biggest decisions of their lives. Thoroughly recommend for a thorough survey. Jim clearly has extensive experience as a surveyor and took the time to carefully explain his findings to me and my partner and was more than happy to take further calls for additional to provide additional clarification and to help us understand the implications of his findings. The report was detailed and received promptly following the survey. We ultimately pulled out of our purchase as a result of the survey, but we have no doubt that Jim and Chris saved us from a potentially very expensive mistake.

I emailed a few different surveying companies for information regarding a survey on a property I was purchasing and I was contacted promptly by Chris from Andrew & James Partnership who took the time to explain the different types of surveys offered and what they recommend based on the property even if I decided to choose another surveyor.From the conversation I had with Chris I decided to instruct them to conduct a full building survey and they liaised with the estate agents to arrange a date to conduct the survey.After the inspection was complete I was contacted again by Chris who explained what they found during the survey and he explained what work would need to be done to rectify any issues and I then received the full report along with all the photos a few days later.I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have a survey done on a property as the service was very professional and informative from start to finish.

I phoned up to get some advice regarding building surveys and Chris was really helpful, giving me tips on how to select a surveyor and the type of survey needed. He also gave me some advice on what needs to be covered on both buying and selling a property. They did the survey on the bungalow we were selling, kept us informed of developments and timelines, giving me a call to discuss the survey and promptly delivering the report. I cannot fault the service I received, would recommend them to friends and family to use in future and I would not hesitate to use them again. Chris went above and beyond what I thought was required and was more than happy to spend time talking things through even before I had given them any business.

The company conducted a snagging survey on a new build home for is and were more thorough than we could have imagined. Utterly professional and with years and years of experience, they gave us absolute peace of mind with the level or their survey which was exactly what we needed with the potential of what can be an issue with a new build property. They were very accomodating to fit us in before we needed to start moving in, and within a couple of days of receiving the keys to the property, I already have a highly detailed report in the hands of the builders to bring all the issues to their attention. We could in no way have got this done without them. I would definitely use their services in the future.
