Visited the cemetery on Sunday 04/06/2023 with family members and although we were unable to locate the grave I felt I must comment on the helpfulness of the gentleman in the office. He tried several avenues to help us and gave us useful information. So thank you.

It’s a shame I can’t review with 0 stars. My great grandparents grave has not been taken care of as it should be. It used to be well looked after and now it’s as if they disrespect the deceased. The grass is higher than the grave and before we know it, none of the graves are going to be there anymore! They’re going to sink. Such disrespect to much loved family members. My Nan has nearly fallen over several times with her walking stick due to not being able to see. Avoid burying your family here at all costs if you care about them! I’m disgusted.

I have been taking my wife & mother-in-law here to see their loved ones for over 30 years. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we haven't managed to come for a while, until today; and what a shock we had. Instead of lovingly tendered grounds, the grass around the graves has been left to grow. My mother-in-law visits 4 graves in total, and 3 of them are disgusting. Two have grass sky high and she had trouble fighting her way through the thistles to put flowers down, and the other had had the grass cut a while back, but the cuttings left in a brown mess all over the place. One lady we saw visiting her mother's grave, was in tears. Whoever strimmed the grass, had trampled all over the grave. No respect what-so-ever.This may of been my mother-in-law's last visit due to her health and has left a very nasty taste in her mouth

I love visiting the City of London Cemetery. It's wonderful green areas and great pathways makes it a calm and peaceful place to visit. The shelter seatings that are dotted around the Cemetery are quite unique and very handy for keeping out of the pouring rain. I love the look of the churches and other buildings throughout the area. Definitely will keep coming back.

My dad expressed his wish to be buried at the City of London as it was so immaculately maintained.Well, he'll be turning in his grave now. Grass is cut in lines between the graves leaving long grass in front of the headstone. No cut grass is picked up, leaving piles of unsightly straw all over the graves. It's so upsetting, a pain to clear up and totally disrespectful.

No respect when moving grave headstone and memorial base without informing grave owners they deny any damage is not their responsibility which they have made. Total disrespect

A very lovely and peaceful cemetery and crematorium with excellent facilities. Large and very well kept gardens with a huge area for cremation flowers.

I've been visiting the cemetery all my life (I'm 54). I was there a few days ago and I was shocked. My family's grave was buried beneath about 2 foot of grass. It has obviously not been mown for many months. I emailed a complaint which was ignored. How could they let it get like that??
