OUR BELOVED GRANDMOTHER DIED 2018NOW ITS 2022 & IT WAS FINALIZED TODAY(4 & 1/2 YEARS)Absolutely disgusting,useless company and service dealing with our late grandmothers estate, lack of communication, total disregard of the last will and testament, was meant to sell house contents to distribute the monies and gave it all toone relation,that relation stole from the bank account and was not been prosecuted,that person found an substantial amount of cash and let her keep it even though the contents were to be distributed between 3 due to her lies ,so called lifetime gift ".Charged nearly £1000 with vat for Barristers advice as they have no clue what they are doing.The icing on the cake was £96 interest for all these years waiting distributed between 9 beneficiaries.I suggest you give to your loved ones or get someone you trust undoubtedly to deal with your last wishes"

Marieanne, assisted by Helen in the final stages, dealt with my flat sale and house purchase in the back end of 2022 and start of 2023. I was thoroughly impressed by their quick responses to any and all queries I had and those of our buyer/seller. They both acted in our interest and acted as professional sounding boards where required. I would recommend using this firm for such transactions. Fees where also very reasonable in my opinion.

Fantastic when selling our house in 2019 - BUTPhones 3 times and left messages recently about making a will but no one has bothered to ring back . Will now go with someone else !

CTW were our conveyancers for our first flat. Very responsive whilst providing quotes etc, but our solicitor wasn’t good - just sent us dumps of documents with no explanation and made lots of mistakes. Then, 8 months after closing, found out they had forgot to register the sale as the land registry…

Selling my late Mum’s house took longer than usual. We changed our Solicitor to Zineb Ashtak who took control and things moved along swiftly. If it wasn’t for her it could have been a different picture. The firm were slow to keep us up to date but Zineb was on the phone daily and getting the paperwork sorted. Well done Zineb.

Dont use them. They delayed our exchange and completion leading to extortionate additional costs by the removals company (due to last minute cancellations and short term storage). They were unreachable at critical times and did not communicate thoroughly with the rest of the chain. Their service was a farce , causing a lot of unecessa stress to our family and almost leaving my 10 month old baby with nowhere to sleep. Avoid them like the plague.

I have had a great experience over the last 18 months dealing with Ryan Burton and Sally Jezzard at the Eltham office of Cook Taylor Woodhouse. They have helped me sell two very complicated house sales, a purchase of land and finally my recent house purchase. I would highly recommend these individuals at this office.

CTW represented the buyer of a property that I was selling. They were regularly unresponsive to multiple requests and failed to acknowledge information had been received or give an indication as to when a response would be forthcoming. At one point no communication was received for around 2 months, meaning the process stalled.This poor performance added significantly to the time (estimated at 3-4 months), cost (empty property) and stress (almost missing mortgage expiry deadlines) of the process. I have awarded two stars as opposed to one as I appreciate they have to represent the buyers interest, which they did to some degree (noting they were not at all helpful in resolving some points) and asked for the same information more than once.Would strongly recommend not using this company and finding an alternative.
