I had an electrician booked to attend on 20th of February 2020 and I left my details to be contacted when he arrives. The job was for the communal area to fix a tampered lighting below my bedroom joining wall.However the electrician attended on 24th of February 2020 , I have no idea who is he, no ID, no work outfit when rang to my property. I was called several minutes later by an operative from Meadows Electrics and asked to give access. I kindly explained that if he's calling again my property number I shall give access internally in a minute. Nobody rang at my property , after a couple of minutes the electrician phoned me to ask to go down to open the back door for him.I advised him that if he's coming to the front entrance I will be able to let him coming in.He declined saying that he will cancel the job. Previously ,I explained to the operative that I cannot go downstairs right that moment. Following this I have to spend 90 minutes on the phone when the job should have been completed already. When I asked to have the electrician name I was refused. Two weeks ago ,another electrician from this company insistently rang my property so I had to go downstairs to open for her. That was a job booked completely out of my property for the communal area only and nothing to do with me. She was rude as well. Despite being an emergency job ,there is an electric and magnetic field exposure ,electricity is literally flowing through my flat walls,furniture and walls the next available day is on 4th of March 2020 only. How this sounds to the company management?

Avoid!! RUDE before they even turn up Lauren and Owen the apparent MD, I asked them not to attend. LQ shame on you for having these guys as your subcontractor.

Very unprofessional company,rude and in for the money. Be careful not be to mislead for any unnecessary works to be done at your home. Always get another registered electricians opinion, as meadows electricians are not truthful and not reliable.
