Compact and bijoux. The train station is badly signposted.

Small local station but very clean and looks like it only has a ticket machine and not peple to help but that could have been because of the bank holiday

History still shows at this site, whilst re-purposing keeps the site alive today.

Lovely scenery on the Penistone Line between Hudds and Sheffield there are many stations en route and the journey can be a little monotonous but overall I think this is worth 5 stars.

Walked to Penistone and back so great to have the Trans Penine Trail on our door step.

Small station not too far from the town centre and a few interesting walking trails. Unmanned, with no facilities except shelter and departure information.

Just in the right place to have a lunch break from walking along the Upper and Lower Don Trail. Some interesting historical elements as you walk towards the station platforms too as Penistone used to be a thriving industrial railway hub.

A lovely little station on the Trans Pennine Trail, well worth a stop to see the village and the old platforms.Even though it's a small station it had r an actual shelter and is only a 5 minute walk from the pub
