Lovely country pub, we had Sunday lunch on this visit, all very nice will do it again. Perfect place to pop into after a visit to the garden centre just round the corner.

Stopped for food Tuesday night. Partridge was fantastic. Waitress was great. Lovely little hidden gem of a pub.

Good pub food and beer. Room was clean and a decent size.Can hear traffic on A303but dint disturb my sleep.Irritating that tv kettle and a light were not plugged in

Booked to go for a dinner on a Saturday evening to celebrate a birthday. Menu choice very limited. Off of the limited menu, we were told that one of the choices a curry only had two left?

I had a disappointing experience at this pub due to the worst customer service I've ever encountered. When I approached the lady next to the bar to inquire about ordering food, her response was incredibly rude. She told me there was a 20-minute wait, even when there were available tables after other customers left. When I asked if we could move to one of those tables, she flatly refused. It's disheartening when you're treated so poorly as a paying customer. Respect for customers is crucial, and it's a shame that this pub failed in that regard. If you can't provide decent customer service, it makes you question why they're even in the hospitality business.

We came a few Sundays ago for a roast and it was the best roast dinner we ever had. Stunning food. So tasty, super hot plenty of veg options. The young barmaid was very friendly and attentive. Would go back again.

Had Sunday lunch here recently and, whilst the service was very good, the food was not the best. The roasts were disappointing especially for £18 and burgers came with a tiny portion of chips. It’s a convenient location just off the 303 but we won’t be going back.

We recently had a lovely Sunday lunch here, was ideal for our family get together as it was a nice atmosphere and everyone was super friendly. The food was delicious and so much of it, great value for money! Claire was fantastic...friendly, helpful and nothing was too much of an ask - a great asset to your team! We shall be back again soon!

Inn next to the motorway. So conveniently located but also a bit noisy. Plenty of parking space. Nice garden with picnic tables. Spacious dining room, party with very low ceiling. Very friendly service. Good food for dinner, no breakfast available. Tiny clean rooms, with low ceilings and small beds.

Not great food. Ham egg and chips was normal sliced ham and there were little black bits on the egg which made it look like it was cooked in an over used pan. 3 bean chilli my son had he said was good and there was a good portion of garlic bread. Also ordered pie and mash for my wife and I. Both came with chips so I had to send mine back as we’d waited 50 minutes for the food already (had been told it would be 25 mins). The chips looked good but I’m on a diet and had re-asked for mash when the first one came with chips. He still brought out chips so I asked for a refund. Really disappointed as this has such great reviews.
