Michigan Point Apartments - Media City

Stayed here for 5 nights while visiting Manchester. Location is good with a tram stop, Harbour City, in front of the apartment, and city center e.g. Piccadilly Gardens, is just 20mins away. The 2-bedroom apartment is not spacious but it has everything we need and it is modern.I can partially view Old Trafford from 8th floor.

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment itself is ok and location is pretty convenient with buses and trams to the city centre and the University of Manchester. There is a Sainsbury Local on the ground floor of tower 2. It it also a relatively safe location. There is a relatively well equipped gym on the first floor of both towers.The biggest problem is the noise insulation. It is dreadful: You can hear and understand your next door neighbour talking on the phone, and sounds of music and dragging furniture from the apartment upstairs resonate loudly. If you are lucky you'll have no neighbours or quiet ones.I have just updated my previous review, adding one star. I am now in a two bedroom flat, south facing, and it is absolutely fantastic. Noise insulation is much better (and/or neighbours are quieter). In terms of quality of maintenance, this is only a good as the agents whom you communicate with, and the current one (called Benn) is truly great and professional.

So clean in the corridors and entrance halls. Good security making you feel safe. Great sainsburys just down stairs and a 2 mins walk to the quays. Free bus to peel Park uni just outside and a tram stop also. Great views and apartments are lovely.

- Great view, excellent facilities, very clean and comfortable- Convenient - Supermarket @Ground level of the building- Very budget - only cost around HKD 530 for 1-bedroom (due to some misarrangement we were upgraded to 2-bedrooms! So lucky)- Strongly advise to stay in this place while travelling in Manchester

Right next to harbour city tram stop with a Sainsburys underneath tower 2. Always covered in rubbish due to lack of bins and air bnb guests treating the place badly.Lifts work maybe 60% of the time. 2 stars for the night staff who are always super helpful

Terrible wouldnt even guve them 1 star. Booked with an earky check in and was sent forms to fill out for it which i done and sent back. On arrival nobody was there it was 7am so figured ok we will ring after we get breakfast 9am rang twice and texted once no response walked back at 10pm no staff came back again at 3pm normal check in time no staff nobody to check in 35 times i rang while sstanding in reception no answer until 5pm when we were all fed lies someones coming thee in the building nobody arrived until 5.30pm she claimed she was called in staff hadnt come into work for a cleaner to tell us the woman was in fact the manager and the woman denied this to the ground was shocking all of us at check in for over 2.5hrs waiting and being ignored for this woman and her horrible attitude and nastiness to pretemd she only works for the lettings agemcy and hafd come in as an emergency to do us a favour to actually be the bloddy manager. Told people rough if we dont like it stay somewhere else

My friend and I stayed there for two days, and the hotel was so clean and had such a beautiful view. We'll definitely be back,

Bit disappointed with the cleaning standards, the floor was a bit grubby, the couch cushions hadn't been removed and cleaned underneath. Bed kept moving as I made love , so not the luxury I thought I'd paid for.Underground car park was leaking rain water, and wearing shoes to go to and from car, meant walking through puddles. Paying £14 extra to park per day, to splash through rainwater, not too clever.Beautiful views from the 24th floor though, and the concierge was a nice person, and did move us to another apartment.NO INTERNET EITHER was supposedly down"!!"

Nice clean flats. Nice location if you're higher up!!

When you stay here you often get used to 2 main things 1 a clean room service and ambience and 2 the tram stop that is just in front of the entrance. I can still remember the cool breeze and it's been an year and the memories are still evergreen
