Lovely little cafe with a nice atmosphere to meet and chat with friends but also sit down and do a little work over a hot cup of tea or coffee

The food is excellent. The service is very hands-off.This is a popular place for students to work. I have to wonder whether this business is sustainable over the longterm (many students seem to buy one coffee over the course of several hours at a table). I hope the Sunset Society can stay in business, as the food and coffee are lovely and the location is great.

Not far off the perfect coffee shop:atmosphere is incredible with a retro hipster surfer vibe with wonderful art on display which is available to purchase.lots of big tables and space to study and separate rooms which means that the café is not too loud.the coffee is also excellent, although not the most complex beans the craftsmanship of the barista is incredible.this will certainly be my neighbourhood coffee shop when I move closer next year.

After visiting my good friend at uni ,he recommended the sunset society for brunch. The beautiful aesthetic of the establishment is nothing compared to the extremely poor experience that I endured. After waiting over an hour for a smoothie and an extra half hour for my food ,I was given some cutlery which still had soap on.I then tried to cut into my hash brown with the soapy cutlery before realising that they were still half frozen and therefore cold.Bottom line ,if you are planning on going there for brunch please clear your schedule for the day.
