Excellent Lidl! Much better than the ones local to me in London - amazing fish and meat selection. Wasn't able to find sandwiches, but they had enough other snacks to furnish a picnic, and at a better price than the Tesco next door!

This is the kind of supermarket that elevates the quality of food for everyone on this remote Scottish island. Tons of imported food products of excellent quality, especially for rural Orkney. I was surprised by the fine produce, wine, cheese and seafood -- it was all excellent. Sometimes Lidl is avoided for quality, but this store doesn't have that problem. It would help to hire more cashiers. If Lidl opened in the Shetlands, they would give everyone a run for their money. Definitely recommended!

Good place to stock up on basic supplies whether travelling or staying a few days somewhere. Store was clean, but lots of empty boxes om shelves that had not been replaced with new stock, sometimes price on shelf is not what is in front of you, so chech carefully what you are picking up.

Bought pork sausages from lidl for tea. Just wanted pork without all the fancy stuff in them. Absolutely horrible. Ate a bit of one and threw out the rest. Had the same experience with a burger from there.However, the chicken, steaks, and pork are pretty good and good value too. Staff are pretty nice and overall qualityof other goods are worth going for. hgoods

Travelled a round trip of 30 miles to buy house plants which were advertised to be on sale today only to find Lidl didn't have any. None had been delivered. This is not the first or even the second time this has happened.No local number to call to check in order to avoid this happening again.Assistant in the shop was very pleasant it was not her fault. I felt sorry for her as I wasn't the only one expressing disappointment.
