The Art Studio Summerseat
An amazing gallery full of art, pottery and jewellery all made by local artists. I picked up a beautiful piece of pottery and two gorgeous candles which would make lovely gifts. Definitely recommend checking it out.

The Art Studio Summerseat
I attended a watercolour class at the Art Studio Summerseat which was really enjoyable. I think there were 8 of us in total so not too big a class and the hosts/teacher were very nice and welcoming. The setting is very pretty with the class actually being in the host's house in a very lovely, large kitchen. Outside there is a seating area along with a separate studio selling art by local artists. It was good to try a new skill and I will definitely book again for another class at some point soon.

Quirky and home grown! It’s a little oasis of peace. A nice selection of unique items, many made by local artists. Bought a lovely hand made necklace for my wife along with two interesting pictures for my young son and 24-year old daughter. Plus some beautiful painted stones and several scented candles. They loved these gifts. Well worth a browse!

The Art Studio Summerseat
Fabulous wine tasting evening at the Art Studio. We were hosted by June and her family alongside Stuart from the Vineyard in Ramsbottom. Great art to view in the house and the Studio while sampling a variety of lovely wines. Such a welcoming and informal experience, it felt like we were friends invited to a house party. I'd definitely recommend anyone to attend if they can.

A delightful place to see art, jewellery and gifts all lovingly created by artists and craftsmen from the the local area. Whilst it may be small in size the selection available to view and buy is large. Well worth a visit.

Summerseat's best keep secret!!!! Ohh my goodness, I didn't know this place existed until a couple of days ago. What a lovely lady June is! The selection of unique items is absolutely wonderful! She sells work by local artists and some of her own as well. There's pots, pictures, jewellery, metalwork items and loads loads more! If you are looking for a special present for a special person, this is the place to visit! They even do art classes as well, if you're that way inclined. Go have a look, you won't be disappointed.

I recently spent a very informative and enjoyable morning at The Art Gallery in Summerseat. The group was working with water colours and as a beginner, I found the relaxed tuition, was very easy to follow. I highly recommend this class. All paints and paper provided and we could take home your finished painting.

The Art Studio Summerseat
My first session last Thursday was a most enjoyable event. Not only were we guided step by step through a watercolour painting by an expert artist, but the group of fellow learners was welcoming and friendly. Above all our host makes us feel very much at home with full provision made for us. Cannot wait for my next session.

Visited today, and very impressed, great little unique space, showcasing and promoting artists, will definitely be back, the ceramics selection was especially tempting!
