Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Edinburgh North

I rented the small van as it was half the cost as a sedan. The vehicle was ready when I walked up and the service rep was very nice as we walked around to inspect the van. Since it was a van the back interior was totally covered in plywood, there is no interior door handle, and also the amount of allowed damage to the exterior is more before they come after you for money. I drove 800mi on 1.5 tanks of diesel so while fuel price is high, I thought I got good mileage. It drove like a minivan, size-wise. Return was also very smooth and quick.Construction along the road they front on made traffic quite painful, just for timing expectations.

Smooth and professional experience renting a car here, but it was Llyndon's charisma that really left a great impression. Will be seeking to use this branch again in future, if I ever need another hire.

Extremely happy with the service I received from this branch. The staff were super helpful, friendly and provided me with an exec 4x4 car that other company couldn't. A definite 11 out of 10 service

Absolutely ridiculous service was put to them through my insurance company it was all arranged then left for ages as they didnt have any knowledge of my fone call arranging this eventually they turned up but my bank card isn't one they use was never told I had to make any payment to them not helpfull at all left me with no car which meant I had to postpone my car going in for repairs and no one seemed to help wouldn't recommend them

Car has a malfunction within an hour of picking it up. Drive back to Leith and told to ignore the malfunction and just pop into any other Enterprise if it causes issues. Not reassuring. I wouldn’t drive my own car with a warning light. Why should I be paying this much for a malfunctioning vehicle and then be brushed off?

If possible I would give this place 0 stars. I had a reservation with them which they confirmed day before and on the day of reservation they called me and asked me to go to airport instead as they didn't have cars anymore. Upon reaching airport, came to know that they have not transfered my reservation and so I will have to book a new one and the price quoted was double the actual reservation. Had to cancel the trip and all the reservations I made because of this, worst experience ever, not going to rent Enterprise ever even in US because of this experience, pathetic customer service and the folks in Leith office stopped picking up call when I called to get me the same price working with their colleagues at airport.

Hired a van. Good vehicle in good condition. Drove well and had no problems at all. The rental process was simple and all the people I spoke with at pick up and drop off were friendly, helpful and professional. I was able to leave my car in their lot overnight while I had the van and there is lots of parking in the area too. Good experience throughout. Very happy.

My insurance company, NFU organised a car rental from Enterprise (Edinburgh North) who were able to supply it at at the very last minute.Each member of staff has been very efficient and helpful. They delivered and picked their vehicle up from my home which was a huge help.I had the car for much longer than planned (8 weeks) and it was a pleasure to drive: a Suzuki Swift Sport Hybrid.I will definitely recommend this Enterprise branch to friends, family and the public!
