They were very helpful in choosing the bike I wanted. Had a test ride on in very big car park they provided helmet and reflective jacket. There is a free 6 week bike service with the bikes and a comprehensive check before you take the bike away. All in all a very positive experience

Having recently purchased two electric bikes from the SYEB Centre I can inform that both my wife and I are highly delighted with the great service provided by Chris and his team, his expertise was invaluable. He was very knowledgeable and friendly ensuring we purchased the right bikes for our needs, great bikes and loads of fun.

Very nearly had a very bad accident, thankfully luck was on my side, no thanks at all to SY Electric Bike Centre! Recently I took my bike in to have the brake pads changed. The young chap fitted them, but I rang the next day to say that the brakes weren't 'biting', the young chap said that brakes needed time to settle in & to give it time. They have never been right since & yesterday was the absolute worst day of my life. Cycling down a steep hill, I went for the brakes, and both front & back did not work. My speed was now up to 50 mph and it was only quick thinking & an incredible amount of luck that a quick turn across a normally busy road, was, for once, free of cars. I have never been more scared in my life. When I finally arrived home, my friend was waiting, he looked at the brakes & said that they had been fitted by someone who should have gone to SpecsSave. My initial thought was to sue the company, but they aren't worth it, I shall NEVER go back there & NEVER recommend them, ever. Please don't let my experience happen to others. If the new brakes that they have fitted are not right, go back & get them to sort them out. It could be the difference between life & death. Not impressed at all with this company.

I cannot thank the staff enough for helping me through the process of buying an electric bike. They explained everything I needed to know in order for me to choose what was best for my needs. There is a great selection of bikes to choose from too. I am thoroughly enjoying my new bike and have been very impressed with the after service from SYEB, nothing it seems is too much trouble. Just bought a 2 seater E Bike. Very helpful manager, went through everything with us even gave us a little more discount. Would definitely recommend the shop to anyone looking or thinking of getting an electric bike. 10 out of 10 for customer service

I bought an oxygen Mountain Bike its been brilliant nothing is two much trouble for them always full of great advice and very professional in a lovely laid back mannerin fact i had my wife's bike converted to and e-bike by them an amazing job very neat looks great she loves itmany thanks to Chris and the Team

Brilliant service. I had been looking around for an e-bike for a while when I found this place. These guys had so much more knowledge than anywhere else I had looked because they specialise. Asked me lots of questions about my intentions for use of the bike and found the perfect match for me straight away. Also really helpful that they have space for you to ride and try bikes out unlike everywhere else I visited, this really is essential if you’ve never tried an ebike before.Great shop, great service. Great bike centre with an amazing selection of electric bicycles. Friendly and experienced staff who always go the extra mile for their customers. Provided excellent service for any issues I have had with my bike and always gone above and beyond the required maintenance. This is a fantastic place - the staff are friendly, straight forward and extremely knowledgeable.I really wish when I was starting out on my e-Bike career I'd known about these guys as I bought a bike on line. Several months of happy cycling came to an end with a problem with the motor.The manufacturer tried their best to shrug me off and sent part solutions out from China - none of which were going to work - without access to a fully equipped bike workshop. After tackling Amazon who basically washed their hands of the whole affair, I was desperate as I relied on the bike as a form of exercise and transport and it had not been cheap. That's when I found SYEBC and asked them for help.To be honest, I was expecting to be told that unless I'd bought the bike there I could 'go away'. Despite reservations (as he'd dealt with Chinese based companies before who would top answering emails), Florien took the job on and he and Sam worked wonders through a number of curved balls thrown at by the manufacturer supplied spare parts - no wheel assembly, missing plugs etc.What I've received back is a working bike in better condition than it left the factory as new, at a supremely competitive price.That no other bike company I spoke to was prepared to help fix 'someone else's mistake' and Sam and Florien stepped and kindly stepped in speaks volumes.If I could give another ten stars to this review it wouldn't be enough - speaking to them today, I'll be taking the bike along 2/3 times a year for an overhaul - that may sound like an extra expense but, in my mind at least, electric bikes are more akin to cars than pushbikes. When I ride out on the roads to get to work and back, I value my skin and need to rely on my bike; as such, it deserves Sam's expert care.I've become a very firm fan of SYEBC and would recommend them to anyone.They're not just in it to sell you the most expensive bike they have, they're in it to sell you the bike you need - that's a rarity today and this is a company you need to check out for all your e-Bike requirements.You WON'T regret it.Thanks again gents - see you for a service in October, before the winter weather starts in :)Paul W
