Louie's Electric Tattoo

What an experience. My first tattoo, Louie took exactly what was hidden in my brain and made it real. I can't describe how pleased I am with the results and with the experience as a whole. Great guy, amazing work, brilliant experience. Nuff said.

Brilliant place, Louie is a cracking bloke. Have been to the shop multiple times and will definitely be returning. Would recommend to anyone.

Louie’s shop is amazing, lovely environment and vibe. Have been tattooed by Joe 3 times now, soon to be 4. Joe is a charismatic, joyous, lovely guy. Enthusiastic about tattooing which makes for an exemplary artist. Joe listened to all my needs, was caring and gentle, executed my designs to how I envisioned them whilst also keeping the flare of his own art style in the tattoo. Would highly recommend visiting and getting something from Joe. You will NOT regret it!

came in as a walk in with me friend to get 2 decently sized tattoos - artists made sure we was both very happy with our designs and took care while making them and while tattooing us. Overall 10/10 would recommend!!

Have known Louie for many years as a friend and know his talent as an artist in tattooing amongst other things. I walked in on Halloween looking for a tattoo and Louie was attentive and helpful as someone going in for their first ‘proper’ electric tatt. Will be going back for more and can’t wait!

I came to Louie's shop a couple of weeks ago not really knowing what to expect as it was my first tattoo, but he made me feel very safe and comfortable about the whole experience. Also he drew up an original stencil for my tattoo which gave me a lot of confidence in his artistic ability. I wasn't initially sold on the design but that was because i couldnt fully visualise the monochrome pencil outline as a fully-fledged tattoo. Louie was very patient with me and showed me various examples from his mini tattoo library (ask about seeing some examples regardless because those books are really worth having a look at). When he was tattooing he made it clear that i can tap out if i need to and kept a very cool, calm atmosphere which was so comforting for a first-timer. At the end, Louie gave me a full debrief on how to clean and look after my new tattoo and after two weeks its healing beatifully and i could not be happier! (There was so little redness or irriation around the tattoo that my mates were saying it looked like it had been printed onto my arm. My friends that have tattoos were a bit jealous as their tattoos were definitely more irritated...)

Had a few tattoos done with Louie now. Always clean, reliable, and comes out looking great! Louie is very patient and gives you plenty of time to experiment with size and placement. 100% would recommend to anyone in Exeter looking to get a tattoo.

Louie is a legend, as is Joe.Not only is Louie an incredibly talented and versatile tattoo artist, but he is sound guy, a gentleman and professional who takes great pride and care in his work. I would not go anywhere else for my tattoos.
