It was a little worrying arriving here as it was so far off of the beaten track, but what a great find! The staff here were really friendly, non-pushy and certainly a great relaxing country retreat - the spa bits are just a massive bonus!! It's a small and intimate venue, but much better than the massive hyped and packed places. I'll take this over any of the over used venues; I'm happy to drive from Essex to Suffolk for this afternoon relax. MIght be better in warmer weather.

What a cool place. Superb place for lunch in (a yurt) or out (on the terrace surrounded by countryside). Great to sit by the pool, in the outdoor hot tubs, sauna etc.I believe they now do dinner too.....and weddings. And accommodation.Owners and staff are so welcoming.I urge you to go if you're looking for a cool place for lunch.....before it gets too busy! Menu was superb, just what you want when you go out to eat. Lighter options available. My friend said her dish was the best thing she'd ever eaten!

I write this review knowing we didn't take in all the facilities but........We often visit the area and are currently trying to only vist places we have never been before. Having seen the sign on the road we quite fancied walking around seeing some sculptures so came back tge following day. A spa doesn't really appeal and when we rocked up we had just eaten so didn't take the opportunity to try the food.Having parked up I couldn't quite work out if we were there or just in someone's back garden. I think it was a bit of both. We followed the orange arrows to the rear of the house saw a lovely dragonfly sculpture but all I could focus on was the dog trying to escape the house behind.Again following the arrows through the garden, meadow and trees I thought I had entered some gcse art exhibition. I know art is subjective but a fence pole with some wire through it pushed me to my limit. The last 2 or 3 sculptures were fantastic and beautiful in their setting I might add but it was too little too late so we headed straight back to the car. Low light being the chickens / roosters either side of the entrance to the pool - funny and horrific in equal measures.I'm sure this place is loved by many but it wasn't for us.

Sitting in the yurt as I write this. Me and my wife have just had a lovely afternoon of spa, treatments and food. It was one if the best massages I've ever had and the meal was excellent. I can't understand why this place is not packed, it's worth a taxi journey for a special time.

Went for dinner which was inside of a beautifully designed open, airy, comfortable yurt. Ended up having the most delicious meal! The only regret is not taking photos of the plates as they were works of art as well. Split two starters with the 2 of us, the melon with apple, fennel, lemon, whipped cottage cheese was a mouth feel of intense yet delicate flavors. The pineapple pumkin pistachio honey harissa crumble with cashew hummus was addictively spicy yet forgivingly sweet with each bite. I had the peri peri boneless chicken thighs over a charred pineapple corn salad and diced butter potatos, it was assembled in a layered design with a dollop of a puree, i did not know and i still dove in. Husband had pork belly over white beans and a puree gravy type sauce, i had a bite of the pork and it was so tender with a seasoned aftertaste that made you want another bite. After our compliments to the new chef, jandri, we were gifted a dessert of chocolate flourless torte with freshly picked blackberries and a fruity sorbet popsicle bite. The atmosphere is lovely made even more spectacular as the sun sets across the landscaped gardens. We will definitely return as there are more items on the menu that we look forward to trying. Some may sound like the same ol" dish

Spent an afternoon relaxing beside the outside pool with an occasional dip in the hot tubs. The food was absolutely amazing. Choose a vegetarian dish Heirloom" which was amazing. Fresh ingredients and extremely delicious. One of the best vegetarian dishes I've eaten.Picturesque venue
