The review is not for the store but their online ordering and international delivery. Have the experience of pre-ordered Alto sax, custom Neck apart from ready to ship items like Reeds, Mouthpiece etc.. Overall the response to email is prompt, apart from few instances where it was delayed. Later learnt it was due to holidays. They can put up a simple holiday list on their website or set up auto-reply in their email, so that international customers are aware. Had good response from Jules Lawrence as well as manager Phil Kerry especially on long running pre-ordered items (6-8 months). On few occasions there were some slip ups, but they acknowledge and readily fix the same. Upon my request they changed order on 2 separate occasions after payment was done, and issuing refund of the extra amount for one of them.The BEST THING they did some time back was to tie up with DHL Express wherein import taxes/duties are prepaid at the time of order thereby ensuring speedy custom clearance and delivery!(from India).

If you are a saxophonist, go here. The guys are awesome and the selection is wild. Get a bass sax while you’re at it.

I visited the other day for some reed and sheet music, the service was okay. Someone approached me as soon as I stepped into the store and asked if they could help. There was a wide selection on saxophones, flutes, reeds, pull throughs, harnesses, mouthpieces. They also have mini saxophones and sopranos. Make sure you take a free sticker for your wall.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They've got such a wide selection of saxophones under one roof, I don't think there is anything like it elsewhere. You can play test up to four different saxes at a time and they don't pressure you to hurry up. They ship to the States and a lot of the items are more affordable there, even with shipping and duties. You should check them out if you are in the area and in need of a new horn.

Very very poor customer service! I booked in my saxophone for repairs about a month ago only to call back on the collection date and was told that the technicians hadn’t even started working on it, after waiting 3-4weeks thinking my saxophone was in the works whereby I could have taken it somewhere else and gotten it fixed in that time frame. Very unprofessional.

Absolutely fantastic. I'd come down from Leeds with the intention to try three models of digital sax for silent practice (Mrs Podesta being a long suffering Sax-sceptic). I presented myself at the counter to be told they'd packed them up for a trade show, but at seeing my crestfallen expression they immediately unpacked them, and let me have a go on all three. I will be ordering...
