Such a lovely shop, staff always very polite and helpful. Not like bigger shops, this jewellers is the place to do business with nothing too much trouble. Good old fashioned service.

Disgusting service! Was spoke to rudely in the shop. We pointed out that the way in which they spoke to us was abrupt and a bit rude. They didn't care in the slightest. My friend and I left the shop and called management to make a complaint. They saw nothing wrong with speaking to customers rudely and didn't care about the complaint. Apparently because we are in our late 20's we are young and they don't like having young customers. They feel we are all trying to steal and smash stuff. Would avoid just out of lack of manners.

I took my watch for repair today because the strap had snapped off. I had purchased a replacement strap but needed someone to fit it. I had tried somewhere else down the road first, that advertised watch repairs, only to be given short shrift. From the moment I walked in Cro & Son's nothing was too much trouble. Bearing in mind this is a watch I wear for work, so it has had a lot of wear. Doing the job I do, it would make no sense wearing an expensive watch. The lady behind the counter was lovely. She told me that it was no problem, that that could fix it for me, and that the watch would be repaired and ready for collection in 20 minutes! Sure enough upon my return Jim had repaired my watch and it was wearable once more. And all for the sum of £5. Thank you dearly to you both for such a pleasurable experience and for helping me out when no one else would. I highly recommend Cro & Son's if you require such a service.

Really open, person who served me v rude. I took some jewellery in for repair and was told it wasn't worth spending money on, and insulted me on the worth of the ringd.I have since had the repaired by a jewellers in Uckfield and I they look like new and didn't cost anywhere near what I was originally quoted.Would never waste my time in this shop,

I ordered a mens bracelet and when it came in they rung me. When I arrived at the store I was met by a lovely lady who remembered me. She was lovely. Suffice to say the service and customer care was A*. I wouldn't get this from a large high street chain. The bracelet is perfect, weighty and was more than I expected. Thankyou

Yet again Cro's have done a fantastic repair on a gold ring. I can't recommend them highly enough. As well as a fantastic selection of jewellery & other interesting items, we're so lucky to have them in our town.
