DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE - USE ANOTHER MAIN DEALER. I took my car in less than 2 weeks ago, and as soon as I picked it up the low battery warning light was on, which I thought was a coincidence but probably due to the fact they had been working on it and so it just needed a drive. Drove it home and on some longer drives to try charge it, but still the warning light wouldn't disappear. Tried to use it Saturday and it was dead as a dodo, 9 days after its rather expensive service! After checking online, (just search google for 'Jaguar battery after service', and so many examples of this come up) it became pretty clear what happened. It's well documented that when plugged in via OBD port, if the session is not ended properly on completion it leaves the system 'hung up' in service mode and will not shut down; it is most common at independent service providers that don't realise this niche, but really shouldn't be the case when taking your car to a main dealer, and therefore paying the premium (£562).Called this morning to ask some advice, and of course told no chance it was us"

Overall had worst experience- The service advisor did not explained the cost involved for the repairs and made me sign the agreement and charged me for the repairs (my car was under warranty)- I was handed back the car with additional faults- Company denies to take responsibility for the additional fault- Tried to contact the manager via email and via calls (left messages) but has been almost a week- had no response from him.- A reputable company like Jaguar should really work on improving customer services.My next car is Audi hopefully- Been to their showrooms, and they welcomed us very nicely and professionally. Hope their after-sales service is nice *fingers-crossed*. But with Jaguar - I really like the car itself but the after-sales services is distressing.Would definitely not recommend the brand to anyone.

I bought a defender in the week. Was a bit dubious. Found both Damon and Ameen very helpful and they went over and above to get my car asap. Cannot thank them enough. I love my car. It was perfectly presented and delivered to me promptly. Even the driver was nice and gave me an exact ETA. I cannot thank them enough. I am extremely pleased with the service.
