Lerwick Dental Practice

I would actually give this practice 0 stars. My 83 year old father came into this practice in severe pain with a swollen face and a red line going up towards his forehead. Was refused any help and would not provide any information where he could go for assistance. Why they did not inform him that there was a dental hospital fairly close by I do not know. Perhaps they do not like the tourists from the cruise ships! He received an excellent service from the dental hospital who were shocked at his appearance and received immediate emergency attention.

I am used to paying private bills for dentists.However having developed a tooth ache all I wanted was a simple extraction with a pair of pliers which is what I got.But believe me was left absolutely staggered with the eye watering fee of 290 pounds for 10 minutes work

Had several poor interactions with Miss Krupa.I was always an NHS patient here, but without my knowing I was booked in for a private appointment when I requested replacement retainers. I enquired about the cost and Miss Krupa told me £260. At a following appointment, Miss Krupa told me £320. I told her this was a higher price than before & she said maybe we could give you a discount" - so what is the standard pricing?? It felt as though she was trying to get as much money out of me as possible. I left the appointment and continued to use my broken retainers for months.At every appointment

I cannot thank this practice enough. From my first phone call of utter despair when my old front veneer fell off two days before a holiday to Japan to the prompt, kind and efficient temporary repair - which is still holding firm !

I joined Lerwick Dental Practice last week. Lovely waiting room with a friendly, plesant reception. Amazing Dentist's. Very happy with my treatments.

Utterly terrible service. Took months to get an appointment. Receptionist wa zu helpful. Paid around 300 for two private fillings which came out a week later. When asked for a refund said they wouldn’t without an X-ray. Never experienced a worse dentist.

I had an appointment with Miss Mahnaz Khawari recently. I’m new to Shetland and found her extremely welcoming, friendly, and kind. She listened carefully as we discussed my needs and concerns. She was easy to talk to and before I left provided me with her contact information in case I needed to reach her if any problems out of hours.It’s also important to say the (dental) nurse working with her that day was equally friendly and kind (im so sorry I didn’t get her name). This was a great first appointment at the Practice! Such a lovely staff including Lee, who was my first contact and assisted me in registering with the practice and scheduling my appointment. Couldn’t fault my experienceAgain, sincerest thanks to everyone I’ve had contact with by phone or in person, all very positive interactions!Cari S.
