Second time coming to this place. First time was awesome! I love the El Americano breakfast, even recommended it to my friend. Second visit, ordered the same thing, but the pancake was tough as a bone. My little one couldnt chew it. I asked the server if I could get a freshly cooked one, he came back with the same pancakes fresh from the microwave that turned even harder after few mins. Ive taken a video, but unable to upload it here. Just disappointed.

Lunch today was a lovely breakfast. 2 fried eggs on toast, 2 hash browns, a small dish of baked beans (not overcooked) and 6 slices of baked. Happy and heldful staff. Clean table. Not many people in so speedy service. Variety of teas, coffees and cold drinks.

Just arrived, very nice coffee and boulangerie in a lovely atmosphere. Home made and delicious. He even spoke to me some words in Basque language. Thank you, man!

Very pleasant and polite service. The coffee is perfectly good and there is a wide selection of pastries, sadly no crisp bite where needed. The croissant and Pan au Chocolate are too dense without a light crisp shell.There is seating outside, but a lot of cigarette butts on the floor and other trash that sadly detracts from the enjoyment of sitting in the morning sun.I hope the manager reads this, as the problems are small and once corrected this will be an excellent coffee spot.

We love this place. Always good service here. Turkish breakfast and full English selected this time and both were generous and tasty. Server told us that an evening Turkish menu is now available so we will certainly visit for that.Turkish people were eating here which suggests to me that James' is authentic.

Great place for a lunch break. Located on Horley High Street, had a lovely cheese and ham Panini and a latte, sit inside or out.
