Came here on a whim from the reviews and to find....Way overpriced food for just below par food.Ordered katsu curry with a bubble tea, all came to £13 odd. Just feel robbed and disappointed.If you want similar and filling food, go to nudo box or that place in Haymarket station.

I have to say that the gyudon at TOKORO is absolutely delicious! The beef is so tasty, and it's cooked just right - it's juicy and tender, with a flavor that just melts in your mouth.The rice is also top-notch - it's fluffy and perfectly cooked, and it soaks up all the flavors of the beef and sauce. It's the perfect combination of textures and flavors, and it's seriously one of the best meals I've had in Newcastle!But what really sets TOKORO apart is the atmosphere. The vibe is super chill and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Delicious, good place for having meal!

This is my first time visit and this restaurant is definitely highly recommend to people who want to have quality & real Japanese food. Friendly staff and nice environment. The tempura is excellent.

Highly recommend this Japanese restaurant ! The beef rice bowl is so tasteful and it’s exactly the same as what I ate in Japan! Don’t forget to order a deep fried chicken and dip with Melt Cheese sauce, it’s amazing!!!

Had combo rice bowl which is delicious and authentic. Chicken Kara-age with chips served with wasabi mayo which is definitely a yum! It is a very surprised and pleasant experience. Good service. Tasty Japanese food. Will definitely recommend this place.
