Cotswolds Hotel, Golf & Spa

We had a Christmas party last night there. The room we were in wasn't laid out very well and if you sat where the main pathway was you kept getting knocked by staff serving. The turkey was not cooked. It was absolutely raw underneath, they offered another but to be honest it put me off. My husband had salmon and the lemon wedge that came with it looked like it had been sucked. They said this was because it had been marinated'...

My daughters and myself booked an overnight stay for my birthday. And so far have had a lovely time. However, what made it amazing was the dinner. Oscar was a gem at the restaurant tonight. Absolutely fantastic service and made our night. We even met with the Chef who was more than happy to discuss and share hints and tips on how to cook the perfect steak …We would come back anytime just for the experience of the restaurant.

Selected hotel because of the golf course. Upgraded to a junior golf suite.Restaurant food was really good and Italian organic wine was worth the premium paid.Great staff with a positive attitude and smiles.The housekeeping staff looked after our left leather jacket. Thank you.Well-done done to all teams: reception, bar, restaurant, breakfast,golf.Great place.

I had a pleasant and comfortable 4 nights stay at this hotel.The staff were friendly, helpful and acted quickly when issues were raised.The room was quiet - and as I was there for work, they were kind enough to move me to a different room as there was a wedding celebration in the main building.However, breakfast could be much better. It would have been nice to have a wider cold food selection. And there were lots of flies circling the food which left me wondering the cleanliness of the restaurant.However, you do need a car to get around the area. If you don’t fancy the hotel food, the nearest shop is a M&S about 25minutes.walk away.

The hotel was very well priced, we upgraded to a studio, this was the second stay and we will be returning. The hotel is clean, the rooms are modern, the cleanliness in the room was excellent and the staff are helpful.We also loved the view of the golf course.

Lovely place, gorgeous room and lovely staff! Couldn't recommend more for the price it was beyond perfect. Upgraded to a studio for five pound extra and it was huge, the bed was so comfy the kitchen massive and well stocked with utensils etc, lovely garden view, bountiful amounts of parking and really welcoming staff to top it all off.

We spent five nights here in late October 2022. Comfortable room, a little on the smallis side, but well appointed. The only downside was not having any curtain nets - I ususlly dislike these - on the ground floor rooms adjacent to the car park. Anyone walking past can see into the rooms. We were on a breakfast and evening meal plan and the food was good. I love the instructions for the fire alarms - I was concerned that I didn't own a dressing gown, should I just remain inside then???

My boyfriend took me to the Cotswolds Spa for 2 days this week. Amy on reception is so lovely and greeted us with a lovely big smile. She is delightful. I also had a hot stone massage with Chantelle, she was absolutely fabulous and the best massage I’ve ever had. Thank you to both Chantelle and Amy for making our stay so special. Rooms are amazing too! We will be back!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here and the room was fairly clean. however the water came out white, when we went for breakfast it was extremely disappointing we were both expecting croissants and different kinds of pastry’s instead we were greeted with coco pops and a hard pastry with a lump of jam on. The fruit salad was not fresh, there was only 3 pieces of toast layed out. They hadn’t topped up the milk or any of the juices, not even the hot food, there was an extremely low amount any kind of hot food. Honestly for the amount of money paid to stay here it was a massive disappointment.
