I recently had my hair cut and coloured by James just before travelling abroad to get married. He did an absolutely fabulous job and my hair was exactly how I hoped it would look. He is so professional and took lots of time and care in making sure the end result was perfect. I really can't recommend James enough he is very talented. All the staff are always very professional and polite it is always a lovely experience.

Went here today for my 1st appointment with Emily I can highly recommend the salon and Emily she knew exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job with my cut & colourI'm so happy

So annoyed. I went for a full head of highlights and a trim, they've done my hair many times and have the colours on file but the hairdresser didn't bother checking and made my hair way blonder than I had wanted. Now my hair even a month later is a completely different texture it feels like straw and is stiff to touch and suuuper frizzy. They've literally ruined my hair and charged me £170 for the privilege. That's a wild amount for a junior stylist. Would NOT RECOMMEND!

Choloe is very friendly and calming. Visited for the first time since being very unwell and she was very patient and nonjudgmental. My hair looks great and she took such time and care. I think I’ve found a good hairdresser and the price was really good too!

Started coming to JB in 2018 (after aDisastrous cut & dry elsewhere). They were amazing in offering possible solutions for me to pick from - put me at total ease they could fix my hair. 5 years later & I am a religious customer :)The consultants know me (and my dog) and always make my visits so enjoyable. Highly recommend !

I had Megan today for my haircut, first time coming to this hairdressers as normally go to Hobbs. I must say, Megan is a very talented and quick hair stylist, she doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable and doesn’t force you to talk unlike past hairdressers I’ve been too in the past. Very good value and excellent customer service throughout. Best hair salon in Hertford ❤️❤️Thank you Megan ! Xx

I originally had my first appointment for hair extensions with James, he recommended that I had a high lift as my hair was fragile, I had lovely hair until stress hit and it thinned, my second appointment I had amy who was really focused consulted with James about the colour and between them gained my confidence back in hairdresser’s. My last experience left me with a mullet, amy knew I was scared and said I will just level it up and was attentive and talked me through the whole cut. At the end she said I’m going to show you the back which I have always dreaded doing since my last cut, but it was beautiful, for the first time I can actually style my hair she does not know how much she done for me today, my eyes watered and bless her she gave me a cuddle, you do not get that my love from a salon. They are all very professional and I’m fussy with customer care but they are outstanding and not expensive neither. Plus they are always busy so book in advance

I had a colour and cut with Mitchel, and I am so happy with the results. I don't think I've trusted someone so much with my hair before. With past bad experiences and a colour correction needed, Mitchel created the colour I've always wanted , super natural and so well blended. The cut is also fantastic. I couldn't recommend more!

I have been visiting this salon for many years and wouldn’t go anywhere else, my 11yr daughter has only ever had her hair cut here!What started as trying a salon within walking distance to my house worked out perfectly. We both have Emilee and she is great! Very patient with the constant indecision of how to cut my hair each time and happy to chat but equally happy to be quiet if you prefer.That said all the staff who work here at lovely, service is impeccable, always offering refreshments and always a friendly face to greet you on reception.Booking in advance is a must as they do get booked up quickly but they will always try and accommodate you where possible.They have a very good ‘new client offer’ which is a good introduction to the salon.
