Widnes Golf Club

Joined as a full member a few months ago and im absolutely loving it. The course has been immaculate everytime i have played, the tee times are never fully booked so i can get out in the evenings or weekend whenever i want. There's always space in the comps and the food/ beer is top class. Highly recommend anyone looking for a new club so join. I haven't enjoyed my golf as much as this summer since i was a junior at another club 15 years ago, hidden gem as a members course imo

Well kept course greens, fairways in brilliant condition.Pro shop staff friendly and helpful.

Diabolical to put it simply. Would never return. The green was hard and not looked after at all. I much preferred my experience at other golf courses such as sherdley park golf course.

The members I met here made me feel most welcome. It was a great experience. The course is in great condition and the greens are absolutely first class. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. In particular my thanks to Steve and Barry for making me feel so at home.

Very waterlogged course, walked off after 3 holes muddy shoes and soaking wet feet.

Played today Sun 15 Oct 2023 after 2 days of heavy rain.Course was fully open and all greens were open. Pins were at the back of every green.Greens were in fantastic condition for time of year.We had to Carry or trollies had to have hedgehog wheels on.Ignore what people say that its a short course.Its only short in yardages because there are 5 par 3s but these are not easy to hit in one shot..You definitely need to use a driver on this course .Even the short par 4s are hard to hit in 2 with water ditches in front of them or well placed bunkers.Course is a little gem .Members and staff are very friendly.Its s course you must play.We are joining next year as full 7 day members.

Great golf course, very tight and greens that were fantastic. Looking forward to returning.

The course is in great shape well looked after and nurtured a credit to the greens men .very tight challenging course .Enjoyed playing there
