Just so much fun and passion. Great fun and really different. Food is good (not brilliant but good). Filling and flavourful.I would recommend to anyone who has a soul and enjoys life.

Slightly off the main road - but well worth it! It was a happy accident that we landed here. Expecting just an evening of Belgium food - we ended up being pleasantly surprised. Upon entering, you quickly realize you’ve stepped into the proprietor, Jane’s, humble abode. This is indeed her house and you are her guest. The food was filling, unique, and homely (Who ever thought of putting cherries into meatballs!)But the food is only the surface delight. For if you come to Jane’s, be prepared to be entertained by her songs, stories, and her love of keeping the guests surprised throughout the meal.Those who venture up the road to Bom-Bane’s will definitely have a story to share with their friends.Thank you Jane for making our first night of our vacation such a memorable one.Skipper and Matt :)

What a fantastic experience our evening at Bom Banes was! It was a 60th birthday and Jane really pulled out all the stops. Her performances were surreal, poignant and great fun. Many thanks to Jane for personalising our unforgettable evening.

The rave reviews are not wrong, this place is amazing!If you want good food, quirky surroundings and wonderful entertainment, this is the place for you. Jane is absolutely fabulous! Attention to detail is spot on. Jane was on her own and was cooking, serving and providing entertainment - just wow! I can't wait to go back to Brighton to visit Bom-Bane's again and would highly recommend a visit!

Jane entertained us at this quirky, cosy, restaurant on 28th June just after our wedding. A lovely personalised message on the wall made is feel welcome immediately. The 'feature' dining tables were ingenious and intriguing..as was the salt cellar....(!). Jane and Rachel (?? -sorry) sang to us with wonderful harmonies mid-courses. I sing in a choir..they were superb. And, to finish, Jane regaled us with a moving poem illustrated with her incrediblehat! It was 'Beach-Blanket Babylon' Brighton-style! The reason for our being there..the food ..was outstanding. Don't miss this wonderful, eccentric, personalised venue. It's unique.

Thank you dear Jane for the unforgettable evening! The soup and monk fish stew were delicious and the performances were amazing. Especially the one with the mechanical hat! The place is full of surprises!

Thanks to Jane & team for a wonderful evening last night. We were a group of 30 people and had the restaurant to ourselves. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere perfect and the service outstanding. It was the best possible start to our stay in Brighton. I can’t recommend Bom-Bane’s highly enough.

Visited Bom-Bane's tonight and I must say that the experience was fantastic! Unexpected... we were in for a treat for an evening!The food was lovely, not what we usually go for, but it was sooo good! It didn't stop there, there was performances that were so quirky and exciting.If you're having any doubt, drop it and just go, you won't be disappointed!Also to note that the food is very moderately priced, won't break the bank.
