Poor installation and non-existent customer serviceQuality of windows are average (I will be able to better confirm this by Winter) but installation is sub-adequate. Window fitters left nails and screws everywhere, not safe when you have two small rugrats running around. Coming from a DIY'er they really have done a hack job of removing my old windows. From the inside I can see significant gaps in the brickwork which is filled with expanding foam (I could snug a dead rat in one of the crevasses). Underneath the sills (which are usually not seen by the naked eye) no silicon sealant was used to seal the under carriage - I had to seal this myself. Being UK largest supplier of windows I didn't expect to do this nor write this review.Concur with the last reviewer. Money is invested heavily to hire snake oil salesmen to force you to buy their products with what are perceived to be attractive discounts (but are instead creative accounting measures to make you think you are getting a deal) but after service is 'non-existent'. These wise guys split their customer service team into pre- and post installation - its easy to access the former but so,so difficult to access the latter. On installation I discover that one of the frames is damaged (deep cut which has penetrated through the uPVC frame) and tried to contact them to get frame repaired. So far I have not been able to access the post install. team - phoned twice, on the line for 15 minutes each time and ended up in a call loop whilst cursing to my wife (about how I could be doing something more productive, like tendering to my garden). After installation the window fitters wizz you round the newly installed windows and 'encourage' you to sign a customer satisfaction agreement. How can you be satisfied with something you have just received? At least allow me to complete this form after I have experienced at least one winter!UPDATE:In addition, also found that one of my bay windows is buckled. A 3mm gap is visible when you close the window. I shouldn't have to find this in new windows. What happened to 'Quality Control' post installation? In light of additional problem reduced rating from 2 to 1.

Having used Safestyle in the past and having experienced no issues we thought it would be a safe bet to use them again. How wrong we were…Firstly allow me to say the Sales people and installers were all first class, helpful and professional. Where they seem to fall down in the inability of their office staff and customer ‘support’ to perform the most basic of functions. This saga began back in November we had recently moved into a property and decided we would like the whole house reglazing front doors and all. Alan the sales person was brilliant and we signed on the line there and then. Took out some finance and paid a big deposit. Lovely stuff. However after the Surveyor came out (who cancelled the appointment with us, twice) He claimed to find an issue with the barrels of our bay windows. There was crack over the recommended 5mm so he couldn’t in all good consciousness allow windows to be fitted in the bays. Fair enough; so we decided to proceed with the rest of the doors and windows. We contacted Safestyle and we’re met with probably the most useless, hostile and illiterate person we have ever had to deal with in customer service Sarah Roberts. Sarah continually spelt our names wrong, made errors on important emails and proved herself to be generally useless. She however informed us that due to the issues with the Bays our finance would have a £2087 reduction. As far as we knew this was correct. December came and we had to keep chasing Sarah for an installation date, multiple calls and emails, always with the ‘Safestyle Promise’ of a call back. (We have since learnt the Safestyle Promise is a load of old cobblers, they don’t care about their customers)Finally the installation date came, the fitting team were a bunch of great lads. And the team leader enquired. Why aren’t you having the bays done? We explained that the surveyor had an issue and he exclaimed. The margin is fine, i’d fit them. So we got in contact with Safestyle and explained what the fitter had said. They said they would rush the order through and leave the scaffolding up to save time. This was late Jan. In early Feb a trainee sales person arrived on our doorstep to measure up for windows, we explained to him the farce that we were in. He couldn’t help. The next day, Dave a senior salesperson came and we figured out together that Sarah, had only refunded 1 set of bays. So we were paying for a set that hadn’t been installed.Fast forward to now. Today over 3 months after our original enquiry. We have some windows and doors. The front of our home is covered in scaffolding and has been for a couple of months now. And we are still paying for a set of bay windows that we haven’t received. We spend around an hour a day sending emails, waiting on the line and being passed around Safestyles ‘Customer Service’ teams, always with the ‘promise’ of a call back. “Mr Vann-Leeds I guarantee and promise you, someone will call you tomorrow.” Lies, outright lies.I’m aware the company was hacked, records were lost, but there is only so long they can use that as an excuse, this company could be so good, but their customer service is the worst we have ever come across. So that’s where we are. Maybe someone with some gumption or power or a decent bone in their body will see this and at least try and help us, where everyone else has just passed it on down the river.

This review is not a reflection on the representative, Polly, who came out to see me at home but more so of SafeStyles approach in general.I was visited at home and had the design consultation and was quoted £3,780 on the spot. I said flat out that I was not interested in paying that as I'd received another quote for around £2,800. Then Polly was able to authorise another discount offering me a price of £3,200 and again I confirmed I was not interested in paying that. Then Polly made a phone call to Head Office (which I didn't ask her to do, I just said I didn't want to pay that much) and suddenly the price was now £2,860?? This coupled with straight up slagging the other quote I've had and immediately writing it off as poor quality etc. This was two days ago, and then today I've had a call from a gentleman at Head Office who cut me off twice when I was explaining I was concerned how a company can slash £900 off a price. When pointing out he'd cut me off he then started saying well if you agree today then we can do it for £2

Before I start please understand that I review a lot of places on Google and I'm classed as a trusted reviewer and I try to be as honest as can be regardless of the situation or event I will always give you the truth and please read this with caution as this company is honestly a very bad place to go for something that you will rely on on for years and also might need for the safety of yours and others lives to escape from your house if there was a fire.So we had new windows and doors fitted seemed very professional and the fitters come and fit the order we had of 3 windows and 2 doors. At first they looked really good until the fitters had finished and we went around with them to find most of it all was bad, I'm going to upload picturesThese guys left a huge mess on our flat roof and in our guttering the fire window doesn't open and was told I had to contact the afters ales to get it sorted I'll tell you about that soon, the front door was beat up on transit and has marks on it. The back door frame is scratched to hell. And to top it off the scaffolding company ripped our gate off when breaking I to our back garden to get there scaffolding without even knocking or ringing our bell.I've emailed them with pictures and no reply, I've rang them 15 times and was promised someone would call me back each time and no one has done yet. This company has ruined our lives for the last few weeks and we are now living in a house without a escape from fire of one was to happen and we have a 1 year old son. This is unacceptable and I would advise anyone to avoid this company like covid!!We didn't sign the finance agreement thankfully and will be taking this to court and hopefully get this resolved but they have you wrapped around there finger so buyer beware these are crooks with a advert...The guy who came to sell us the windows and doors gave us false information regarding there products stating that they was the only company to do windows and doors as good as they do and that they are made in a different way that made them stronger and resistant to things and the doors they make are metal sheeted inside. And that there a class glass is the best on the market. It all a load of tosh.I didn't read the reviews on here first hand but now I have had them do the job I feel like my life is upside down and the stress I've had off this has made me and my partner ill.Listen to the others and listen to me DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they are bad people and trust me they do not care when your windows are fitted that is it you have to live with it even if you cannot escape from your house if there is a fire. This has made us have to risk each night with a baby in a unsafe house that is at risk of life.

Great service by safestyle. They were very informative of the products they were selling. Gave me prices for a variety of products. I decided to only have my French doors fitted and they in no way pressurised me to have any other products from them. They negotiated the original price they gave me and I was given a good discount price as I paid in full. They called to arrange a fitting date in good time. The fitters were polite and very respectful of my house ensuring they used dust sheets and also cleaned up after themselves before they left. I have had follow up calls since having my doors fitted to ensure I am happy with my purchase. Safestyle have been a pleasure doing business with them :)

We had French doors installed by Safestyle in place of an existing window, they removed the brickwork, supplied and installed the new doors for a little under £2500. Another supplier quoted us more than double this!It took 1 fitter a single day to remove the wall and fit the new doors. The overall quality is perfectly fine. There were a few minor defects which we only noticed after the fitter had left. (broken trickle vents) but they were very quick to get someone out to replace them within 48 hours.Customer service is a little hit and miss and i got multiple phone calls the next day to chase us for more work to be done.

Paid £3000 for a couple of doors about 3 months ago. Left them unlockable & told us insurance company wouldn't pay out if they are not fixed. Came out to fix them, but left in the same state. Keep saying they are coming out again, but now, no further contact. Avoid !

We had our sliding door replaced by safestyle last week and everything is perfect. The fitters were great and the salesman too. They left everything in great condition and cleaned up after themselves nicely. My mom was very impressed by this! Only gripe is that the financial dept don't answer the phone very quickly if at all but that is a small issue to deal with such a great company. I had many quotes and they beat them all. Go with safestyle they do the job and they do it well.

Driver in the van of YM21 around top valley / Arnold area drove dangerously and even had the audacity to shout ‘twat’ out the window. Incredible while in a work van.

We decided, having had new wooden flooring installed throughout the ground floor to replace the front door. Having looked around we both decided to give Safe style a ring and arrange a home visit and quotation. Within a couple of days their agent came out and discussed our options and helped us choose the door and frame. The order was placed and a second visit arranged, this time a surveyor to measure up and check any building work which may have necessary. With both visits Safestyle were very punctual, professional and left us feeling we had definitely made the right choice. Within a day or two we were contacted with an installation date and once again we received first class service. On the day of the installation, again we were kept informed of time of arrival etc and the fitter done a first rate job of carrying out the work and ensuring we were totally happy. I would highly recommend Safestyle to anyone considering a new door and should we require windows or other work in the future Safestyle will definitely be our first choice.
