Diary of a Dream Doors Worcester Kitchen Makeover (Disaster)Before sitting down to type this review I decided to quickly google the words incompetent and negligent.Let’s define a rating system from 10 meaning I got the Dream kitchen down to 1 meaning OMG someone could have died. I’d urge you to rate them honestly and fairly.Dream Doors Worcester turned up early (encouraging start) on the first day. They removed all my old cupboard doors and made a good start (promising so far). Started to replace and install new doors.Work surface eventually went it and nice super fancy glass Bosch Extractor fan fitted.Nice sink, cooker and new hob. All still encouraging but a little tardiness with time keeping has crept in. Nothing too disastrous so far.Started using the hob and extractor. Still quite exciting with all my new and shiny appliances. Still all nicely positive.Decorator turns up and starts work while I’m minding my own business until I hear an almighty crash. The extractor has fallen of the wall landed on the new hob and smashed in to well over 1000 pieces damaging the work surface on it’s way to the floor. If you want to decide your rating now somewhere towards the OMG someone could have died end of the spectrum feel free and I won’t be upset if you get on with your day. (Legal Beagles Note – I didn’t actually count the number of broken glass fragments so 1000 is a guestimate.Unbelievable! It could have resulted in a disaster followed by hospital treatment. Just the night before I’d been using the hob with boiling pans a plenty.In hindsight I should have called it quits at this point but I’m generally understanding and realise accidents happen.Dream Doors Worcester eventually turned up to assess the carnage and had the audacity to accuse me of being unreasonable when I asked them to replace the work surface that had been damaged by the impact of the very heavy cooker hood. Unfortunately he tripped himself up by saying they would like to “repair” the work surface clearly acknowledging that it had been damaged.Anyway a second fitter turned up. Re-fitted a new extractor and some other jobs. I went to use the extractor in the evening and nothing. It was completely dead. This turned out by chance to be a stroke of genius on the fitters part as if I’d actually used it the whole house could have caught fire as he’d left the cardboard packaging in place blocking the underside of the extractor. It turns out he’d blown the fuse installing it.I decided it best to “walk away” offering to pay for all the white and fitted goods or if they preferred I’d let them complete any work only under the daily supervision of David from Dream Doors Worcester. Unfortunately for me they chose the second option but the legal beagles will probably remind us all that if anyone messes up when doing things in your home you should first give them the opportunity to rectify their mistakes.They turned up with another work surface but it turns out it was scratched so they disappeared again.On the third attempt under the direct supervision of David from Dream Doors Worcester but it was neither straight nor level. The join between surfaces is terrible. It is impossible to slide a flat bottom glass across the join smoothly and my spirit level wasn’t happy when I asked it if the surface was level. (N.B. Legals – videos of bouncing glasses and wobbly plates are available on request)Nearly forgot to mention the electrics (hilarious)! To my surprise they didn’t send an electrician and David from Dream Doors Worcester did this work. Two sockets aren’t straight. The high voltage cooker switch has a gap between the socket and the wall allowing steam and moisture to get in. I’m fairly sure steam and Electrics don’t mix.Yes, David from Dream Doors Worcester who deems himself to be competent actually managed to give himself an Electric Shock.I hope you haven’t all fallen asleep yet.Denise

We had some wardrobes fitted in our bedroom by Dream Doors Worcester. The whole experience was professional right from the first quotation, through the fitting to the end result. The fitter was very professional aWend friendly and did a fantastic job. We are very happy with the results, the wardrobes look stunning and have really added to the room and house. Had a Quote for a built in Wardrobe,And the price was nearly £3.500 which we thought was a little OTT so we went back and with a lot of changes the price was reduced.So we went ahead & placed an order.David came and measured up also made a comment walls were slightly out but they can compensate for this?.However the day came to fit,the 2 guys were here for whole day very polite and tidy.Before they had finished David, came went to have a look then came to see me and said all is well nearly finished.We then went to see the finished work all looked good,But we were not shown the operation of doors or built in mirror that was an Extra.Two days later we received a phone call from Peter asking for the remainder payment,and at that time we Explained we had noticed a few snagging issues,he promised someone would call us.A week later we went back to the shop spoke to Peter as we had Not received any call or Receipt for the remainder of monies paid,nor have we had a call asking if we are happy with the work.We took videos to show that the doors do not stay closed when using the mirror they move on there own useless,also 2 shelves fitted upside down.Now been two weeks since been fitted and still no date or phone call for fitters to put right.Very disappointed after reading the reviews that there aftercare in our opinion is very poor.A very unhappy Customer.

Absolutely thrilled with my new kitchen. The showroom staff were really helpful and helped me choose a the modern style I eventually settled upon. Lots of choice. David, the owner visited to me at home to go through all the details and came up with a design that suited the available space - he listened to what I wanted and gave me good advise on the appliances. I settled on Samsung appliances as they come with a 5 year guarantee. I had Corian style worktops that gives the kitchen a high-end look.The fitters were friendly, tidy and clearly highly skilled as the fit went smoothly and I am thrilled with the result.

No idea about what they do, but they leave next doors car covered in saw dust and filth! And clear off! When you tell the boss they say its not us! .......would you like a photo.

The service i received was first class Everyone from David coming to discuss design Mark the fitter who knew his job and was so helpful ,Everyone who was involved in the process ,office staff so pleasant and kept me informed throughout, Would not hesitate to recommend Dream Doors

New worktops and kitchen cabinet doors, trims etc. New sink and tap and oven and hob. Very professional service from the team at the Worcester showroom. The fitter was excellent. My kitchen has been transformed. I will be using you again for my wardrobes next. Highly recommended.

Thanks to David and the team for creating a kitchen with the WOW factor at a good price. We are delighted with the quality of the refit using Tollimore doors, Corian worktop and some new appliances. The fitters were efficient, polite and tidy. Communication was excellent. We highly recommend.
