I chose this place for the third time to repair my guitar with broken strings, and I am not regretful at all. Excellent service. With the friendly approach of the knowledgeable professional staff, I've decided to get another guitar. In my opinion, this is the best music store in the area.

This shop had to be one of the best in East Anglia. For a relatively small shop , it has the whole package , excellent choice , guys who know their products and fantastic service too.I was looking for a keyboard and chose the Yamaha P125. They did me an amazing feal ( better than any online site and it's perfect.Well done guys , will be seeing you again soon. Can't recommend you highly enough.

Ordered some flatwound strings. Great value, and amazed at how quickly they were delivered to North Wales. Top Stuff.

During a move from London to Ipswich, my Faith Eclipse Jupiter guitar fell on the floor and a horrible crack/split in the wood appeared down the neck. Needless to say, the resultant damage was a major cause for concern and after discussing with a number of musical friends I thought it was 'done for'. However, I decided it was still worth finding out whether it could be fixed so I rang up Music World Ltd, who provided me with a rough estimated cost, and dropped the guitar off at their shop on the Saturday evening. By Monday morning I had already received a call saying that the gluing and clamping had worked and the guitar it was ready for collection. It had been repaired and cleaned up nicely, restrung with light-weight strings, the electric wiring had also been fixed, and to top it off they also set me up with an official Faith guitar case to ensure this doesn't happen again. Couldn't have asked for a better service or a quicker turn-around - and the price for all this was so insanely reasonable that I dare not post it here. Thanks again guys, and I'm sure I'll be frequenting your store in the future!

Friendly, relaxed service & no pushy sales. John took the time to listen to my requirements and I came away with a fantastic second hand PRS guitar and Fender amp. Highly recommend this shop.

thanks, music world!! husband decided he wanted to learn how to play so he took him in and the man was very very helpful, he gave us honest opinions and didn't try and force the most expensive gear down our necks, nor did he rush us either which is good. My husband was set up with a lovely black and red Ibanez geo! he loves it. also, we got plectrums an amp with a free cord AND a free guitar strap. we will definitely be back..... however, that picture of Ed Sheeran has got to come down thoughhaha, joking of course bless him!

Went to Music World to purchase my new electric piano. Service could not have been better! John was friendly, polite and helpful in getting the right one and also worked out a deal for me for a stand and seat too. Highly recommended and will return for any future music purchases.

07/09/23 - we went to Music World on the recommendation of a seasoned, professional musician. They did not disappoint!!2 weeks before purchasing my guitar my brother, after a short yet informative telephone conversation with John was able to pay a deposit on a guitar over the phone - a process which was both simple and straightforward.Finally arriving at Music World was delightful! A shop beautifully and plentifully stocked while still spacious, relaxed and with the feel of being somewhere familiar! It was lovely and I felt like I could try my guitar without judgement or pressure! (not my usual experience in music shops) - Perfect!!Greeted by John, who had my Sheeran 03 by Lowden ready and waiting - I was beyond excited and John, while remaining professional and focused was also enthusiastic and encouraging… just what an aspiring player needs to further fuel natural yet nervous enthusiasm!John enabled me to try the guitar providing me with a stool and plenty of space - excellent and helpful. While I tried the guitar John explained the finer points of it with me, then leaving me to relax discussed payment etc with my brother.My brother and I both felt welcomed in the shop and like we mattered as customers - John is certainly an asset to the business - rare these days and very much appreciated!I will definitely return to Music World - with its competitive pricing and experienced knowledgeable staff - and would happily recommend the shop to fellow musicians and aspiring players alike.LBD, King’s Lynn

By far the best music shop in Ipswich and surrounding area. Very helpful people. A lot more than guitars - of which they've got a fantastic range including pre-loved. Definitely the place to go.
