My spouses maternal heritage was Lachlan and we planned to visit old Castle Lachlan which was right across Loch Fyne from our Air BnB. We connected with Ann at Argyll Kayak looking for kayak rental- perfect way to visit the family castle by kayaking across the Loch!Ann was incredibly helpful, quick to respond to all of our questions, offering options for hiring a guide or just renting kayaks, delivery to Minard, picking perfect boats for us. I've been in to the shop quite a few times over the past few months. Ann is always very helpful. The shop has only been open a few hours a day over the weekend but not mid week. I've just bought a Karitek roof system which took a while to arrive, probably due to current difficulties of COVID/supply than anything else. It was no bother as weather hasn't been great lately for kayaking. My questions prior to ordering were answered in detail via email. I spent a lot of time deliberating over my choice as I'm using the rack for fibreglass fishing kayaks. Ann remained very patient. We've also bought wetsuit boots & will be looking at clothing for other members of the family soon. I would thoroughly recommend the shop.

The staff here are so helpful and patient. I've had so many questions and they've gone out of their way to help me. Fantastic service and quality products.
