Pets at Home St Helens
Two minute trip to get hay as nowhere else was open. Staff aren't very well informed at all, some are pure jobsworths. Disability discrimination, astoundingly, still alive and well here. Will they ever learn?!There are much better pet supplies shops in the area where staff are there because they want to be and know something about the stock... see my other reviews. It's our last resort when everything else is closed. Enough said.

Love this branch. Staff always knowledgeable especially about fleas and worms. Always busy which is a good sign. Free parking outside. Vets and groomers upstairs but never used as overpriced.

Took our pet who had a sore eye. The service from the vet was great but let the score down by not being more transparent with the pricing. The vet was recommending products and saying you need this and that but not offering a price along the way. Was meant to get a free consultation under the pet plan but was charged for this. Only realised when we got home and had to go back the next day for a refund. More transparency is required regarding the pricing in my opinion.

I come to pets at home weekly to get food etc for my cat.There's a lady who works there called Paula - she is possibly one of the most lovely women I've ever met!She's so helpful and has such a great knowledge of animals (cats in particular!) and has so much time for customers.She's absolutely fantastic - she makes the visit to the shop so personal and it definitely shows that she has 30+ years experience of working for the company!All the staff there are lovely - but Paula is definitely the most attentive and just genuine woman I've met.Will return weekly, as always!

They are good when they have stock in that you need.. May I add though that staff are very well mannered with nice attitudes,shame that stock ain't kept topped up
