Crow Hill Standing Stone (Menhir)
A Menhir or standing stone, while info on the particular stone is unclear they are often stone age, dating them to 3000-5000 years old. Often used as signposts, it is theorised by local archaeological history to be a marker or signpost on the road" between ancient Derby & early NottinghamCarved on the front side of the stone is the date 1777 or 1776. It has been worn away so isn't as clear as it's first reported date."

Had great fun trying to find this. It would make a great family treasure hunt. Clue: it's just behind a seat with a view
