Crow Hill Standing Stone (Menhir)
A Menhir or standing stone, while info on the particular stone is unclear they are often stone age, dating them to 3000-5000 years old. Often used as signposts, it is theorised by local archaeological history to be a marker or signpost on the road" between ancient Derby & early NottinghamCarved on the front side of the stone is the date 1777 or 1776. It has been worn away so isn't as clear as it's first reported date."
