Good guys. We found bunk campers really professional and the van was fab.The location is ~30 minutes from Gatwick airport.Their Ts&Cs are quite long, but they contain much that you need to be aware of or understand.

ServiceWe were given copious amounts of completely wrong information about how the motor home worked including the fridge, heating system, hot water system etc. This resulted in a great deal of frustration for us having to ring the office multiple times to ask for help over a number of issues. It resulted in a waste of money as we had to discard a lot of food. We experienced multiple cold showers. Communication with office staff was appalling. Many emails went unanswered/ignored. Phone calls were also not returned. Basically once they had your money care factor was nil.ProductThese motor homes are very basic and very dated. Ergonomically they are terrible. All seats are extremely uncomfortable. The beds are well used foam mattresses. We both ended up with back pain and I ended up with a pinched nerve in my shoulder and subsequent numb arm and fingers from the bed as well as drivers chair set up. My wife and I had the van for 5 months and returned it a month ahead of schedule -without any refund despite the company being well aware of all of the issues we experienced. The pain and discomfort were too great to manage. We lived on paracetamol, ibuprofen and sleeping tablets to get through to the date we did. We were given the van for a long-term hire with worn tyres that we had to replace, eating into our holiday time. Within a couple of weeks from the commencement of the hire the fridge door and pantry door broke. Numerous hinges (rusty) broke in the time we had the van. We had to use tape and other gadgets to hold the interior together. On one service stop, despite reporting the kitchen tap was making a high-pitched noise we were sent on our way. Days later it broke completely, leaving us to use the bathroom tap for all water needs-not ideal for a number of reasons. We then arranged a day to have this fixed and were sent on our way again only to find (before we left the yard luckily) that it was not in fact fixed it was still completely broken. So, we stayed a number of hours while this was replaced-once again eating into our holiday time. The replacement tap was so low down that we could hardly wash up/rinse etc. Not even the kitchen sink plug lasted the term of the lease. The brakes also went during the time despite it being a long-term hire.Despite us pointing out our dissatisfaction with the van, the poor customer service, the number of days out of our holiday we were forced to use to have the van fixed due to multiple problems with It, our wasted food, and wasted fuel, we were not offered any reasonable compensation.  The small compensation we were offered early on in the lease was pittance compared to our financial loss, our  wasted time, the frustration and disappointment we experienced, and the overall poor service and product we experienced.Our advice would be stay well away from this company and their product if you want to actually enjoy your holiday.

Deceptive and misleading business - Don’t be fooled, this business is not legitimate and they are scammers.I am urging you DO NOT BOOK. Their website says they have automatic transmission vehicles that they can allocate based on availability. When I booked, I emailed them immediately to ask if my booking could be allocated an automatic transmission vehicle. My booking is in 5+ months so this shouldn’t be difficult to find availability on.I have since been told they don’t have any vehicles in Ireland/Northern Ireland. At all. My booking is for a vehicle pick-up in Northern Ireland. Not only is their website misleading, it’s completely deceptive.As communicated with the so called “Guest Experience Team”, Elizabeth Dickson, this business is breaking the law and will not get away with it.No customer service here because it’s become clear, they’re just straight out fraudulent. I have reported them to consumer protection and hope to get my stolen money back. Don’t risk it yourselves! Take this as your warning and clear sign, this business is a SCAM.

Really wanted to give 5 stars but the overall experience was spoiled by the fact that the camper we ended up with was a little dated and that it smelled of cigarette smoke despite there being a clear non smoking policy. We spent the 1st day installing air fresheners as we made our way North to drive the NC500. The overall adventure was positive and we did get an apology and an explanation that one of the cleaners at the rental location was known to smoke inside when he cleaned the vehicles after a rental. My recommendation is to make sure you address any odor issues BEFORE leaving the facility. The pick up experience was positive and detailed and the drop off was also friendly and we did get a verbal apology. Not sure we would rent from Bunk again though. The smell is likely to be there for the family who rented the vehicle after us.

This this the third time we have hired a motorhome to travel around Europe and it was amazing. The guys at the depot in Heathrow are super friendly and helpful. The price was far cheaper then anybody and it was also peak season so good there. They also include more then one diver, unlimited miles and insurance. Will use again

This comes a little late, but better late than never . I booked a little last minute , got their Aero (2 berth) ,the vehicle is a little old and has a lot of miles under it , but it served its purpose well, no issues on the road and the interiors including the cabinets held well.What made the entire trip worth it , was their customer service , i was handled by Joy , who like his name was a joy to work with . He was extremely patient in walking me through all the details , watchouts and helpful tips. He was also extremely gracious and polite , this ensured we started the trip on a high . The very next morning (it was sunday , so off day for Joy) , i needed some help , so contacted him via whatsapp, he called literally immediately and walked me through . These small things mean a lot fo customers like me , and i am grateful to Joy & Bunk Camper s for enabling it .Highly recommend , i think they have a new fleet coming in as well.MANY MANY THANKS JOY

WARNING!!! CCTV SHOWS THEIFS BREAKING IN AND DRIVING OFF WITH ALL OUR BELONGINGS IN UNDER THREE MINUTES (without the keys). NO ALARM NO TRACKER NO SECURITY.After finally getting through to the company 2 days after it was stolen. They told us it’s OUR FAULT and tried to take our deposit.Thousands of pounds worth of our personal belongings gone in just minutes. One of the reps at Bunk Campers told me that they had removed the alarms because they would disturb people!!!

We had a fantastic experience with the Heathrow branch - we rented the Aero plus for 2 weeks and drove all the way up to and around Scotland. Big thanks to the welcoming and helpful Mark and Joyner at Heathrow who are a fantastic team and made us feel at ease and well supported. They had lots of helpful tips and in depth knowledge of the vehicle which meant we had no issues on our trip. This was our 2nd time using Bunk Campers (first was Edinburgh) and we would definitely use them again.
