Didn't get the opportunity to visit the museum; it is in a great setting, though

Very beautiful Victorian train station. A quaint shop with various handcrafted items. The childhood museum is also very interesting. Very friendly ladies behind the counter!

As much as I would love to make a better review I can’t really. The museum was really really really really small. When you enter you can already see the end. But it is a shame because the place is huge and there is so much potential. It is quite interesting and the objects are also really nice. But it is too small. If you make something bigger you can add a little fee for the entrance. I was happy to visit once as I was in the area but can’t return as it was too small

A very small museum, with some interesting items, but at £5 per adult expensive for what is on offer. We have visited larger, better run community museums in Scotland like the one in Heritage Museum in Brora, which only invites donations. Also, when we visited it was run by 2 bored young ladies, who didn't add anything to the experience.

Didn’t visit the museum itself but had a walk around the old station building and it was really interesting….had a chance to listen to some live guitar playing, too

Not huge but still had a £3.50 entrance fee. Couldn't help comparing it with the heritage centre in Alness which is larger, more varied and has a tea room and a wee gift shop. Entrance is free there. But I didn't mind paying.

Have been a visitor to the museum a number of times, it's a nice, friendly and not too large place in a beautiful old railway station. My children especially liked the dressing up box when they were young, Victorian style clothes... The cafe on the platform is a must too, excellent drinks and food at very reasonable prices, but please be aware that portions are very generous!

The museum was closed when we visited on a Sunday but we went on recommendation to the small tea rooms attached to the museum. As others have mentioned the staff are very cheerful and the food was good local stuff. Definitely worth dropping in.

Interesting view on historical culture in Strathpeffer, not only about, but mainly looking at childhood in days gone by.

As it's February and to early for visitors we just took photos but looks like it's worth a visit in the summer.
