So I went to PJ hair after previously had my hair done elsewhere and was very upset with the colour and condition afterwards. Dani was so warming and helpful on my consultation, I instantly felt in safe hands and couldn’t wait to get back in for my treatment. Dani has restored the condition of my hair and the colour is perfect in just one visit I couldn’t be happier with my results and would highly recommend this salon for 100% professionalism.

Dani did my balayage the other day and I love it. The salon has such a nice vibe and Dani is one of the nicest people ever and made me feel so welcome. She also softened some of my layers that another place hadn't done properly and fixed a banding issue from previous colour in my hair. Can't wait to go back <3

First time at PJ hair with Dani and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. A thorough consultation with a skin test prior, then a totally dedicated service from Dani, whose expertise meant I could say 'please can I have whatever you think will work best with my hair/ skin tone' and just sit back and relax. There was plenty to colour correct as previous experiences had left my hair with yellow tones and a mono colour look, but I came out with beautifully conditioned, luxe hair that I've had a ton of compliments for already. Unsure where you'd usually get this level of knowledge, skill and service outside of London, but it's right here in Preston.

Had my hair cut for the first time here today and she did an amazing job, shaped my hair really nice at the front and left it feeling fresh and healthy. Also very knowledgeable and was eager to give advice about how I can look after my hair at home.

My first time getting my hair fully bleached platinum blonde, so I was very nervous. I can't thank Dani enough for helping to ease my worries so quickly. She was very attentive and has a great rapport, talking me through the process and make the experience enjoyable. In the end, my hair looked great and better than I'd hoped for!

I've been going to Dani at Penelope James on and off for many years. She's seen me through some at home dye disasters and with her endless knowledge has saved my hair on more than one occasion.She keeps my hair happy and healthy whilst providing an environment you won't find anywhere else. The salon is wonderful, incredibly chilled out and I instantly feel relaxed when I get there. Dani knows how to create custom colours unlike any I've seen before. She truly is one of a kind and the best there is. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new salon.

Dani has totally transformed my hair. After just 2 appointments, my hair looks and feels much healthier. My previous stylist had given me a really uneven cut, but Dani sorted out my cut and colour and I love it now. She’s also really nice to talk to.It’s a really nice, modern salon and I also like the Joico products used, I’m so pleased I found it.

I came in to the salon as a first model for Siobhan, I am so happy with my new hair cut it feels and looks like it was done by a fully trained hairdresser. She was professional from start to finish, very friendly and funny. She is a natural and is definitely going to go far. I immediately felt welcome when I came into the salon and I am looking forward to going back. Would highly recommend!
