This place is cool but i really don’t like being turned away because they the staff say they have clients with reservations to service.When i looked past them into the shop it was completely empty.I am also half bald and it would have literally taken 5 mins to blow what hair was left on my head onto the floor.I wonder if the owner of the shop knows the staff is sending money down the road to other barbers !?

Since moving back to the Belmont road area I have attempted to book with these guys 10 times, all in advance. 7 out of the 10 times the booking has been cancelled. That’s just far too unreliable to have repeat customers. Shame as it’s a cool place

If you are reading this review....why haven't you gone hear yet. Best barbershop. Great staff, great vibe. They always go above and beyond. Been using Matt since I first went. He is great with kids. DO NOT GO HERE !!! me my friend and my uncle all went here and got ringworm. i noticed when i was getting my haircut that they don’t use barbecide or clean their equipment at all and the barber even said he was going to try something new on me without asking. unless you want a disgusting fungal infection i recommend not going here

My teenage son got his hair cut by Shane today. He absolutely loves it. Shane worked really hard with his curly hair to get it just right. It wasn’t a fade so the style was difficult. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed. Music was great. We’ll definitely be back.

An absolute gem on the Belmont Road. I stumbled upon Holdfast over a year ago and haven't went anywhere else since. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. They cut hair to a very high standard and the cost is reasonable. I use the online booking system to avoid any hassle. You can choose who you want to cut your hair, I usually stick with Jason who has been exceptional so far. Best Barbers in Belfast!
