Great pub with delicious food,fab atmosphere and friendly staff,we loved our overnight stay here

Great bar for an hotel. Looks just like the pubs from my youth. They do live gigs here. Popped in for a Guinness which was wonderful. Staff were friendly. Unusual shape to the room, but it works. Really enjoyed my visit.

It's a nice comfortable rock pub with rooms. No frills and even less bs. Comfortable rooms, in a fairly quiet area. Staff are lovely. Friendly, helpful and hospitable. Bar is reasonable but sadly they don't do real ale fully and certainly didn't sell the sort of stout I prefer. However, Newcy Brown is a reasonable alternative!We would definitely stay again.

Brilliant little pub this , only pub that holds rock nights in Chester , we were lucky to go their one night and it was packed with a number of people and bikers (merciless , or something like that , first it was intimidating but after speaking to a group at the bar over a spilt pint I actually dropped , I would say this resulted in no trouble a few laughs an jokes and they replaced my beer which was nice of them ,Anyway staff are all friendly here the rooms are set out to a very high standard , and match up to the functioning of the bar which is brill ,They serve food which is also cooked to a high standard and tastes incredible

Excellent location. Easy parking nearby and walking to Chester's shops, historic sites and eateries. Very friendly and obliging service.Rooms perfectly adequate but just a little shabby.

Was helped tonight by a lady Claire we think. We were lost and we're made really welcome, had a drink. We had our little girl and she was more than welcome in the pub to a certain time. Absolutely lovely people will definitely visit again and stay next time.

Fantastic place. Great for gigs. Food was absolutely amazing. Had home made chicken pie which was superb. Good selection of beers, good jukebox. Highly recommended.

It’s our second time visiting The Saddle and we absolutely love it!Fantastic hospitality from the staff, super dog friendly, ace music and absolutely delicious food!
