I live across the road from here. People coming out of this place are always hanging about drunk in the street after closing and leaving their litter outside my front door. There is zero consideration for the fact this place is surrounded on almost all sides by flats. People getting into taxis shout outside my window until well past midnight. There's no security, and they've taken to playing bassy music in the evenings, as if it wasn't disruptive enough.I hate this place.

I stopped in here my first hour into Edinburgh and my first hour abroad. I was taken aback by the generosity of the staff, who gave me a compatible phone charger to help me in the country, wrote a detailed list of directions towards the best parts of the city for travellers, and one of the bar woman even stepped out to help me to the bus station. They are very kind and the drinks are good at a modest price. I would have struggled immensely if not for this bar. I recommend that you not only go there, but give them good tips.My biggest impression was that the bar really felt like a community. It is a nice watering hole where you can get a unique look at the people of Edinburgh. You feel at home as soon as you're through the door. The chemistry of the place is naturally like this. If I lived in the area, I would've been a regular.Would give ten stars if I could.

Well nevef been there before it was getting dark and the rugby gates were not open yet so walked to find a bar and this was the Murryfeild bar for a start did not think it was open had dark lights even outside if I had not spotted two guys smokeing outside I would have walked on but when in it was done up okay the two girls serveing were nice and enjoyed my pint but one or two drunk people been in all afternoon but they were no problem just haveing a good laugh with the staff but it will be a fine place next time before the match needs to have a sign post end of road because neer new it was there.

Best/only place to have a game of darts in Edinburgh. Lovely lady behind the bar. Moving tables, so we could settle in for a long darts session! Will go here every time I visit Scotland.
