MUMS Great Comfort Food
Had a lovely time. Great food, fun environment, friendly staff.The vegan Sheppard's Pie is fantastic and the crumble is delicious with custard.Big thumbs up the the house lager.Definitely worth a visit.

Great food, cosy and warm. Place was packed, even on a Monday night. Fair warnings, servings are huge, but at least the staff took it very good naturedly that a few of us couldn't finish! Also a great soft entry to haggis, nicely stacked up with the neeps and tatties.

Both times I ordered here, the serving was quick, friendly and the food tasty. Just Like home, suficient portion even for a day long hunger. Great Sheppard's pie. I like the nice cosy atmosphere and the whole experience feels good.

Food was really good! The mash was delicious! They had a big table for our group which was a big relief. Service was fast. Didn't have to wait for too long.

Honestly brilliant. In a 4 day trip to Edinburgh we went twice the food and service was so great. Great home cooked style food served with a smile and joke. Mistakenly left a hat there and they had safely set it aside remembering us. This is a must visit for me.

Staff is very friendly and the place is cozy. But the food is not my liking. The pie is so so and too much potatoes. The soup is kinda bland. Fortunately, the fishcake tastes good.

We love this restaurant and we went back twice during our 4 days stay there. Really feel like home cook comfort food, love the haggis and pie.

Went to mums for a pre show meal and have to say I was impressed. Like the name of the restaurant suggests this was just very nice filling food. I had the chicken leak and bacon pie and I can't really fault it. The chips were home made too which is always welcome. The price is reasonable especially for the location. The table we were at was a bit cramped next to another one but apart from that all good. I would recommend this place if you are in a hurry or just extremely hungry.
