A beautiful little cafe run by the most lovely people. Sausage rolls are to die for

Cafe was closed. We arrived at 13.30 on a Sunday, the sign at the carpark entrance said cafe open and so did the sign in the carpark toilets. So we paid to park and walked up to the cafe. Only to find it closed. Very disappointed!

A nice atmosphere sat outside and the only option for miles. Big variety of cakes available. No prices displayed for anything & no menu. Expensive drinks and rubbish tea. Staff were quiet and not very welcoming.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Stopped here after a tiring climb and a swim, feeling in desperate need of a cup of tea on a very hot day. We ended up with the biggest slices of homemade cake I’ve ever been served - the profile matched the climb! - together with a pot of tea and cold drinks. Sat out on the terrace under an umbrella and watched the world go by enjoying the birdsong and other nature. Friendly service and chat from a lovely couple, and I’ve honestly never had a slice of cake like it, light and fluffy sponge and sugary sweetness. They also had Bara Brith, other cakes, sausage rolls and hot snacks. Perfection.

Impressed by the variety of delicious vegan cakes, drinks and ice creams available. Closes around 5-6 depending on customers.
