Seven Springs Well
Useful layby with a pretty spring. As laybys go it is very picturesque, but you wouldn't spend longer than five minutes admiring the spring under normal circumstances, so I'm not sure tourist attraction is an accurate description. The spring is down a steep scramble.

Seven Springs Well
The ultimate source of the Thames.About 300 feet higher than Thames Head near Kemble and flowing throughout the year unlike the Thames Head which is seasonal, and this place is 12 miles further from the sea. If this were indeed to be recognised as the source of the Thames, then it would make the River Thames longer than the Severn. These wells are known to feed the Churn, which joins the Thames at Cricklade. I think you should recognise the highest point on the Thames as the source. The Churn Thames River then is the longest river in Britain.
