I ordered and paid for my flowers in August 2019 for my March 2020 wedding.I asked several times for an invoice or receipt and gave her 3 different email addresses to send them to as she said she sent them. Never did I receive one.We corresponded many times about the flowers to be used and decided on artificial overall and they would be sunflowers with navy roses and gypsophila. She sent me pictures to show what she would do so I picked which arrangement i liked and that was settled.The same flowers were for the bridesmaids and yellow gerbers for button holes as she said she couldn't get sunflowers small enough to do this.Original delivery was February the 15th but she said she would make them for the first of February. She did message me January and said she would need to put it back 2 weeks to the original date due to having problems with suppliers.I had to message her after the 2 weeks to find out when the flowers were coming and yet again she said there were problems with suppliers but not to worry as she usually delivers flowers on the morning of the wedding.I still had to ask for updates as she didnt keep us notified.5 days before the wedding my husband messaged her and said we wanted the flowers delivered no later than the Thursday (2 days before) and I'm glad he did because she turned up at 10 o clock at night with a cardboard box. Handed them over and as I took them into my dining room she said goodbye and left.I was angry and upset to open the box and see what she had made. The standard of flowers were very poor. The stems were cut sharp at the bottom, the small piece of fabric wrapped once round the handle was fraying, the material that the flowers were made from had holes in them.She did use sunflowers but there were no gysophelia or navy roses like she said I could have. She had used some sort of pale blue flower to bulk up the bouquets.Then let's on to the button holes.....They were purple!Not once was purple mentioned as I said the colours were navy and yellow. The men were wearing navy suits with yellow accessories, this is why I asked for yellow but no she sent me purple. One single flower cut. No twine like she said she would use to decorate and the ladys button holes had the tiniest ribbon tied in a bow.I sent her a message straight away to say how unhappy I was and I would accept a full refund in exchange for her to take the flowers back.She agreed but I had to send several messages about this over the next few weeks to actually receive any payment back even though I agreed for her to pay in installments.There was no way I would have used the flowers for the wedding. I'd rather have gone without but thankfully my bridesmaid knew of a wonderful place to buy replacement flowers so the day before my wedding I had to travel to buy replacement flowers and then stay up til 1 in the morning making my wedding flowers for the next day.If I'd have agreed to the flowers being delivered on the wedding morning I would have been devastated and this obviously would have put quite a big downer on the day but the day.
