Plymouth City Council Midland House

They are a disgrace. Avoid at all costs as they fo not follow rules or guidelines. Complaints are not heard, parents and children not listened too. Seriously need looking into as too many families being bullied unfairly

they take away kids from normal family’s and don’t let any of there family members see them I haven’t seen my little brother and sister for 2 years

Really dilapidated building. The door to the entrance has a smashed window aswell as a house doorbell on the outside which is broken so you have to knock on the automatic doors, which aren't automatic anymore, after you knock and hopefully get heard, staff come and slide the door open. Don't even get me started on the staff, they're rude as anything (except the receptionist, she was lovely) and if you're there looking to get help for anything, from housing to child welfare matters, DON'T BOTHER!!! The staff are so incompetent, it's a wonder how they even dress themselves in the morning, they may well even have carers that dress them before they come to 'work', if that's what you want to call it! The majority are useless, boneidle, don't give a toss about what they get paid to do and when you go in to complain (and you will) just as I did they will pass the buck or even give you the wrong name of the manager, TWICE, and two different names in order to get away with answering your complaint! The staff should be sacked and the place shut down as it's not fit for purpose!!! This is how our tax money is being spent by Plymouth City Council, you're absolute thieves and you're the ones that need help and imprisoning, period! The stars don't go to zero but that's what I'd give them, ZERO STARS! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Lax & unprofessional

All they love doing is taking children and newborn babies from people that don't deserve there child taken from them.They don't care about how they make parents feel.They are lies and abusive towards people

I've yet to meet an honest social worker.
