What an absolutely terrible service. Our puppy had a sore eye and the vet suspected it was a scratch, after paying £175 for a consultation, a pain killer and some eye drops, we were told to return the following day to make sure, as they hadn't actually seen the scratch. We were told there would be no extra charges for the return visit. We were then charged a further £75. So, all told we have paid £250 for an unseen scratched eyeball on a 6 month old puppy.Choose another vets.

Our pup had an infection after her spay and had to spend a couple of nights hospitalised. The care she had was second-to-none and you can see how much the team care for their patients in how delighted they were with her recovery. Thanks to each and every one of you.

They treated our horse. Which was good. Then after customer service has been evil. They try to get extra money when bills been paid long ago. Due to them our insurance company wouldn't settle vet claim. So be wary if you want to get your insurance to settle.

Staff at the Morpeth branch very friendly and helpful Bo is the only dog I know that runs in mind the fact he knows he gets treats once he's been seen too probably helps

We recently brought our puppy in for a vaccine appointment who was suffering from severe diarrhoea, we raised our concerns to the student nurse Beth Stephenson who was taking the appointment. Beth took several attempts to take our puppies temperature being unable to get the thermometer inside our very calm puppy. Even though she struggled to take the temperature she and the clinical director Jo decided our puppy was well enough to have the vaccine even though a qualified vet never inspected our puppy. The whole appointment was a shambles and within 48 hours she was hospitalised for 24 hours in the Alnwick branch. Every vet and professional we have spoken to since have said this was a major error to give the vaccine when she was unwell and she should have been inspected further. They have since been defensive and extremely unhelpful. If you value your puppy and their safety I would highly recommend staying away from this practice. Given the other reviews about the treatment of puppy’s this doesn’t seem to be an isolated incident.

It’s took me 3 years to write this because I’ve been so ill and traumatised after your vet Helen lawlor murdered our 11 month old puppy. She came in with severe respiratory problem which needed urgent attention (ARDS) but your nurse gave her stomach pills and said it was just stress due to fireworks. To cut a long story short and several frantic phone calls over a 3 day period you had absolutely no idea what to do. With ards you have 48 hours to act fast. I kept telling you but you wouldn’t listen. I’m a dog groomer of 30 years and much more experienced than your nurse. Helen had absolutely no idea !!!The next vet was absolutely disgusted at how we had been treated and so was Edinburgh! Since all this I have lots of stories about your practice and I will be going to the press. The fact you never sent a bill says it all. This surgery was responsible for a beautiful little girl and our shattered family. If anyone needs further information please get in touch. And please don’t respond with your silly get in touch as you don’t care one bit. I bet you though we would just go away like every other customer you have causes harm to but I’m not scared of you or your nasty management!!

My precious baby boy collasped twice. Once at 2 years old in 2020 and again at 4 yrs old in 2022. They seriously missed an underlying condition. The first time he collasped they didn't bother to take bloods as it was in lock down and just said it was a vasovagal attack ??. The second time they took bloods which showed raised liver enzymes and a scan showed a mucocele of the gallbladder. I seriously think this was missed following his first collaspe as no bloods were taken. After a scan 3 months later I got told his gallbladder was clear only to be told by another vet at a different company following a CT scan 6 months later that he had a hardened gallbladder. After been diagnosed with Diabetes 11 months later and Pancreatitts ( possibly caused as his gallbladder wasn't working correctly) he spent 3 nights in hospital. They never got on top of his blood sugars and they didn't know what his underlying condition was ". Just that he had Diabetes Ketoacidosis and Pancreatitts I feel totally let down. I believe they didn't give him the right treatment. You put your trust in them
